Little nodded, and stood up. "W- we have to go!" She meowed, wobbling on her paws. She looked up to see a strike of lightning near by. Her eyes widened with fright as she backed up into shadow. "C- come on!" She meowed into his fur. She was worried. Either of them could lose their lives. "The waves.. we should stay in the forest.. then go around and into camp that way. It's safer. I don't want to lose you.." the wind was blowing against her pelt. It was honestly the worst time to be expecting kits.

Shallow growled. She darted away, along thr beach. She felt safe until she saw a wave aporaching. "No.. no.. no.." she was mumbling, trying to go faster and faster.

Letting Flower talk to Fox, he shifts towards Rain. "Is everything going alright? I heard that Shadow wants you to become normal warriors again, is that true?" He flicks tail, eyes filling with sympathy towards the medicine cat.

Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow could barely hear the words over the pelting of the rain. Alarm and panic filled his gaze, shying away from the loud bang of lightning striking the ground. His fur stood on end, almost feeling the electric charge in the air. He turned towards the voice, seeing an unfamiliar face among the gale. Another newcomer? How peculiar. her direct request to join was surprising to him. He assumed that the stranger had overheard his conversation with Reaper. This cat was older, so he would not be able to just assign them a mentor. Shadow made a mental note to show them around later. "Welcome then! We need to all get back to the ship." he shouted due to the noise.
Shadow felt Little pressed against him. Her words rung with possibility, and he decided it would be the best course of action. Shadow raised his voice to those nearby,"Head inland and circle back around to camp! Stay away from the shore!" He started towards the trees, giving his shoulder for Little to lean on. Shadow glanced over her shoulder one last time. What he saw astonished him. Shallow was pelting along the beach, chased by the large waves attacking the shore. An outline of a ship was visible in the distance, but now was not the time. He needed to get Little to safety.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest could not smell the watching Scatter due to how strong the wind was. His fur was pressed to his face, pushing his fur back to hide the white marking spotting his chest. His golden gaze was troubled, eyes narrowed to keep the sand out. "We need to get to higher ground. Do you think any of these palm trees will hold?" he asked Spirit, scanning the canopy for a stalk that was not being threatened by the gale. Little did he know they were being watched. The presence of the Outcasts was known to him, but he had no idea Scatter was among the group of exiles.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower shook her paws free of the rain collected on them, not enjoying the cold feeling rising in her limbs. Fox's warm personality was a silent relief to the storm raging outside. One could almost imagine a bright, shiny day if they blocked out of the howling of the wind. She put on a brave face when silently questioned by Fox, nonchalantly gesturing with her tail towards the exit of the surgeon room. It was as subtle a sign she could come up with, glancing from Tide to Fox in unison. "I'm doing alright, I suppose. It's a bit chilly outside because of the rain." The tropical climate was typically warm. This change in seasons was a different experience for her.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream felt rain drops fall on her course pelt, sliding down her back in the manner of downy duck feathers. The she-cat enjoyed the rain. The feel of water gathering around her paws made her feel comfortable, rather than bothered. The scent of rain was thick in the air, and a sense of unease was gathering in the eerie silence of the wind howling. Cats seemed to be scuttling back and forth, moving their belongings inside where they would not get wet. "Looks like the rain is going to have us inside for a while. Is this going to be enough Freshkill to hold us off for the time being?" she glanced at the pile, shuffling through it with her paw. There were some pieces already soaked and inedible. "I personally caught some fish earlier. Fishing is always good before a storm. It is as if they can feel the electricity in the air."

blossom nudged talon again, flattening her ears when she didn't respond. they HAD to get out of here- the storm would break any second. blossom grabbed the cat's scruff and tried to drag her away, thinking. she couldn't get to camp in time- she'd have to figure something out. looking around, blossom looked up at a strong tree. that would keep them out of the rising tide. she looked for a hollow in the trunk, finally finding one in another tree and beginning to claw her way up, trying to drag talon with her

frost was on the ship they called camp, feeling it swaying slightly in the growing wind and trying not to feel too sick. he was more sick with worry, however. so many cats were out of canp and the tide was rising to surround the boat fast. would they be able to get in? oe wouls they be left to drift out to sea? frost backed up slightly, feeling waves splash along the ship and flattening his ears. he got up and headed for the sailor's den, hoping and praying that they'd all be safe there.

It only took a moment for Fox to catch the gesture, and he gave a subtle nod, making his way to the exit, "Oh, true..! The rain is pretty cold," he gave a light laugh. He had been around long enough for at least one other storm, and although they spooked him a bit, he certainly didn't mind them. The lightening was beautiful, after all!

The tabby flicked his ears thoughtfully. ''I'm not sure about fishing in a storm...my brother got swept away in one.'' Feather replied, shuddering as rain continued to hammer down on his dusty brown fur. ''But each to their own...'' he murmured. Feather was staring at the prey, his eyes searching every scale of fish. ''Maybe...but I think we can go further inland to hunt...I'm pretty sure there are rats or lizards?'' he wanted to return to camp.

Sticking her tongue out at the grey warrior, Spark flicked her black ears thoughtfully. ''I'm not a kitten...and I want to help out.'' she replied. ''So why can't I know?'' Spark inquired. ''It seems completely arbitrary.'' the tortie added, plopping down in front of Rumble. ''I'm a strong cat, I can look after myself!'' she boasted, puffing out her chest.

Scatter would approach Tempest, enough said. The white cat, on paws of lead, approached Tempest with a conviction that would've stopped any raging shark in its tracks. Scatter could be scary when she had something to do. Nonetheless, Scatter approached Tempest. ''Hey, sir...'' she mewed, in a honeyed tone. ''Remember me?'' Scatter inquired, as though she were merely asking the weather.
