Wild canines and big cats are 90% of my characters. I also have a lot of grey and blue in my collection. Tiger stripes are also becoming more prominent.

How do you usually attain your oc's?
USD on FurAffinity. I don't buy characters too often though, so its not that costly.

Sorry for the really long post!
I haven't posted in the last few days so there is quite a few of my daily character art:

One of Vicenzo:

Vicenzo's nickname is Vince and he is male. His birthday is on the 4th April and he would be 25 if he was human. Vicenzo is asexual and is single right now. He is a tiger and was born in the jungle and still lives there to this day. He has never seen the world outside the jungle or even knows that there is something else beside the jungle. His mother was killed by humans when is was little but he survived because he was raised by another tiger, who also had cubs.
Vicenzos favorite prey are wild boars and if he isn't busy with hunting he sleeps. His favourite spot for sleeping is in a large tree next to a lake.

One of Clara:

Clara doesn't have a nickname. She is transexual (male to female) and her birthday is on the 28th January. If she was human she would be 16 and she is homosexual. Clara is a princess and will be queen someday although some are arguing wther she will be a good queen or not as she loves jewelery. They fear she will drive the kindom in bankruptcy with her urge to buy expensive accessories.Speaking of becoming queen: Clara has another Problem. To become queen she needs to get married and she only wants a wife as beautiful as her.

and one of Ani & Ina

Ani and Ina weren't always called like that but they forgot their former names. They are both agender and their birthday is unknown as well as their age. They were once two seperate beings with Ani being a demon and Ina an angel. They were both captured by scientist who used them for experiments. One day they both woke up attached to each other and with new names.

Ooh! I'll pick Joseph for this one! I love him to pieces but I haven't done a lot with him. Okay, so, he's the first of my space characters. He's sort of like a Green Lantern [im trash i make these references] except he has to take care of the entire universe that my characters live in. It's a big job but he still makes time for his friend Pandora and the two are slowly bringing in more characters to help Joseph so he doesn't have quite so much to do. He's never made it clear if he is actually immortal, instead always explaining that time isn't really a concept in space. And for the job he has, he really isn't that great with people. -shrugs-

do you enjoy simple hybirds where one specie is more dom than the other or do you enjoy more complicated ones that show the different speices traits?
I'm going to say more simple for this one. My big species hybrid is canine x marine creature, like my secondary 'sona Holli and Makos.

Any fandom based characters? Either personality or otherwise?
I have a tON of fandom based characters because I'm not original ?? I have three Pokemon chars; Maestro Leopold is basically the cat version of the character from MSA Magic; I tied Bennett directly to the Steam Powered Giraffe universe; Beatrix and Volt are inspired by SteamWorld Heist; Ongakugami is an Okami fanchar and Yami is based on the final boss from the game; Aiden is a cross between Aladdin and my favorite book trilogy; I could go on for so long about my fandom based chars oops

Do you base any of your character(s) off of you? Any examples...
Because I'm not that original of a person when it comes to personality, actually all of my characters probably have some similarity to me, be it a personality trait or just something we both like.

Ooh...tough one. The oldest that comes to mind is Shae.

I'm not a big fan of closed species anymore but maybe that's just because I'm bad at winning them ?? Oops
I really like original characters though [despite the fact that I don't make my own very often], I just enjoy seeing others' work uvu

Have you retired any of your characters? Which ones?
Officially only my 'sona was retired, the panther design of Holli. Guess I haven't considered retiring characters x>

How often do you feel like you aren't giving your characters enough love?

Are you planning on using the ocs now for future published projects such as books, comics or videogames?
I've had so many ideas for character comics come and go, but I usually run short on ideas for long-term projects plus there's the whole having to draw it thing xD For the most part I prefer short stories with characters. They suit my attention span and I can write about more chars that way!

Do you have set mains, secondaries, etc, or do you just randomly focus on whatever group of characters?
I focus on individuals :'D Setting specific mains etc would be too difficult for me since my "favorite chars" vary a lot depending on what I'm doing with them.

What site do you store your characters on? Do you like it?
Right now I have only three places where ALL my characters are: my computer, my phone's note app, and my Sta.sh. I love having my stash for storage and it's easy to keep all the design info there. The actual character info is on my phone though. I occasionally spend time on my wip Weebly site but it's been kinda obnoxious to use. I only recently got a Toyhou.se so I haven't experimented with it yet!

What's one animal you'd like a character of but don't have one?
An otter ?? They're popping up everywhere at the moment and I now I want one too! I actually have an idea for one, I just haven't gotten around to making him a reality <3

Would a raccoon based species that hoards random junk be something you were interested in?

What is the most important part of a species?
Uh, my own translation of the question answers with 'its community.' A species relies so much on its community. No community at all and the species won't take off. A welcoming community is going to get more people involved. If the community goes downhill the species will too.

How do you choose a mate for one of your characters?
Usually it starts with a design similarity, then I end up making the two characters a launchpad for each other. For example, one couple I have is Kellin and Heartblep. Heartblep is like a living heart moniter so she lives in a hospital going between machines. A near-fatal accident put Kellin there and Heartblep saved his life. Voila, I have a ship. xD

Do any of your characters have professions?
For me, character development starts with what they do, so yes xD

Where do your characters live? (world/special houses/habitat etc)
I have my characters spanned across several worlds in one galaxy/universe, though most of those worlds are like Earth, just maybe in different time periods or AU versions. And of course I have my entire space group as well!

Which of your characters is the younger? And the older?
Excluding my space chars, my oldest are Lotus and Misaki. Lotus is a demonic Egyptian queen who ended up in the modern world, placing her at 3000+ years, and Misaki is an ancient tree spirit, so who knows how long he's been around. My youngest is probably Pip-Pip, who's barely a puppy.

Which is the character you've desired the most and actually achieved? Show!
My fourth JBD, Tao! I believe he's the only closed species impress-me contest that I've actually won. He has a perfect mix of all my favorite possible species traits and I love his split personality.

Got any insect of weird species oc's? Who's your weirdest?
The first that comes to mind is a character/species concept who never made light past Facebook but who I still enjoy, Arana. She's a black widow-rabbit hybrid!

I think mine are mostly diverse? However I do go more for characters with dark palettes and I lOVE skeletal designs.

Initially I was debating more of a Maximum Ride character for her bUT I've had an idea for a space char and she fits perfectly! Cosmica, who is named after an SPG character, is my star caretaker. It's her job to repair and clean stars <3
Baloo by Azalesha;; Eeep this kid <3 Baloo is my ditzy, carefree, happy lion boy who loves bananas <3
Nimbostratus by junkdad [dA];; Nim, my new sad bb who, despite being a Great Dane, is convinced he's still a lap dog >v< He controls precipitation and is why it rains when you're sad. Since Nim cries a lot he feels it's comforting to people to know they aren't sad alone! But he can't be everywhere at once so people have to sort of take turns getting rain. Nim rides around on a little thundercloud uvu

All but top right by Shadow.Flame;; I've gotten five designs from Shadow.Flame I'm crazy about their work oops :'D The gray pup is another space character but I haven't quite decided what to do with them; the dragon pup, who is in fact the size of your average gigantic dragon, hoards gold, but only the kind at the end of rainbows!; and the galaxy panther/undecided big cat controls comets and meteors, and works somewhat with the shooting star pup.
Volt by Shadow.Flame;; SteamWorld Heist char number two <3 Volt is slightly nicer than Vectron from the game but he's just as bad a shot.
Yami by Shadow.Flame;; And Okami char! I have almost no villain-y characters but Yami is based on the Okami character and hE ISN'T NICE

How do you choose a mate for one of your characters?
I look for whether or not they fit in my character's story and makes sense, matching themes are a plus! Personality is also important, they have to match, or clash juuust the right amount ^u^
