What site do you store your characters on? Do you like it?
I use wix.com for my characters. I love it, but I've never been happy with my sites. That's probably just me being uber-picky.

Is there a lot of space for art/character info?
You can make as many pages as you want, as far as I know. It's a website for making websites, and so I don't think that it has a limit on pages.

Is the site easy to use (even for someone with little to no experience with coding)?
The site is very easy to use! The only coding there is can be accessed through the pages that pop up to help you.

Any downsides to the site (you need to pay to use it, there's a character limit, etc.)?
You have to make everything yourself and there are a lot of options. I know what I like, so it's very easy to design my site (unless it comes to color). This is an example of one of my sites. I never completed it, but it's an example of what you can do.

I use weebly mostly, but I want to use Toyhouse as well. It's just initially setting it up that's the time consuming thing XD
Yeah, I really like weebly.

It's one where you build the page based on elements, so it can be organised in pretty much any way you want. Which is really nice.

Yup. Just click and drag bits to where you want them.

Errr... It can be a little time consuming? I generally create a "form"/template page and then copy that when I make a new page so I don't have to add everything every time. But I don't know. I like it.

Toyhouse! Oh gosh it's so nice compared to my old site--a beat up old weebly. Very organized and easy to use.

Boi, more than enough space. Unlimited of everything, I'm pretty sure.

Really easy to use! Literally my only complaint is there is no spellcheck in my preferred type of coding...which I'm a bad speller so...

Well as I said, spellcheck...but also it's in its early stages so you need to get a code to make an account. Idk if it'll be a paid service once it's totally done. I sure hope not.

uggh I've been so busy with school I haven't been here in forever *flops*
I got this little guy recently and I absolutely love him!


So I'm feeling extremely disconnected with a bunch of my chars and I'm just kind of bummed out. It must seem like I'm always trying to trade/sell someone and I really don't mean to be like that. I'm just an impulse buyer so I end up with great characters that I'm just not really connected to.

Not really! C: I welcome all offers, because they are really good starting points to build off from. I think of them as just a ballpark estimate, and a place to start!

For me? The general lineart. Is it a clean, "easy to read" design? Does it look neat? If so, bingo, I'm in~!

it depends, on the person and on the offer. I usually am though? I feel like it's b/c i try to trade characters a lot of on cs (where a lot of people suck at pricing imo)/I do own some characters on the pricier side? honestly, it's more offensive when I have a list of what I'm interested in and then people completely disregard it.

he's one of my favorite children tbh, everything about his design is just perfect to me. He runs a bakery in the mornings and is a forest guide by night, working to help lost travelers.

personally, it makes me extremely uncomfortable, especially when they're one of my mains/primaries. Like, it sort of feels like begging to me? Especially if they like to bring it up all the time/just randomly or add things like "I wish I could have them" Like it really depends idk, sometimes a comment like "damn, what a dream" is fine by me but like "omg, x is my dreamy" makes me very uncomfortable.

I think its how the owner interacts with the community, design-wise, something appealing but believable or well thought out..(?)
