What if you were told that there was a predetermined end for each and every one of us? That everything was drawn out by an unseen ultimate force? That there was an inescapable fate in store for all in the world? Since the dawn of time humans have wondered if they were able to preside over it- to shape and create their own paths: or if it was entirely left up to chance. They have often asked if Pokémon were to join them on their quests. After traveling to far off lands with the unique creatures humans discovered that they were bound to one another. Generations arose with Pokémon and humans embarking together on journeys seeking out strength, knowledge, and wisdom. Together they over came hardships, stood in battle against sinister forces, and they discovered that their greatest feat was finding timeless friendship. Now, the moment has arrived for a new wave of a generation to set out and forge fellowships of their own. Yet they will find that none are born with the same fate.

That is an old tale passed down throughout the Sinnoh region, one which many Trainers grow up hearing about. This historic story is often thought to be the motivation for young minds when seeking out Gym Badges against the leaders in Oreburgh City, Eterna City, Veilstone City, Pastoria City, Hearthome City, Canalave City, Snowpoint City, and Sunnyshore City. It fuels their drive for strength and to be accomplished, yet, along the way they find there is more to life than a simple badge.

Friendships start small, as mere seeds in wind. When they reach common ground bonds sprout and extend deep within one another. Together they both help each other to grow tall and strong, able to rise against any type of weather. Not all plants coexist in perfect harmony, some have scented petals while others have dense needles. If they strive for a shared greatness nothing may hinder their determination and dedication to the other. Trials and hardships will fill their days in the form of thunder or thorns. However, together they must stand to face the threat or the world will fall away.

Welcome to the Sinnoh Region! This is the oldest region in all of the Pokémon World! Dividing the region nearly in two is the majestic Mt. Coronet. Shrouded in a thick mysterious fog the region has some interesting factors, such as three lakes, surrounding islands, sandy beaches, dense forests, snowy terrain, and the Sinnoh League. The history behind it is fraught with legendary tales of wonder and excitement. Professor Rowan is the local expert and he studies how Pokémon evolve. Now it is time for a new wave of trainers to explore.

Each Gym has one trainer that must be beaten before you may challenge the Leader. Throughout the Sinnoh Region there are 8 Gyms, each one specializing in a different type. To reach the Elite Four and Champion of the region you must conquer each and every single one. As you progress the strength of the Gyms will climb and prove more tasking. Only when you work as a team will you and your team defeat the Gyms. Good luck in your ambitious quest.

Where there once was an old Day Care Center in Solaceon Town now stands a Pokémon Farm. It is managed by the Rancher twins named Clyde and Jett. They sell some of their Pokémon for 1,000. Sinister forces work to unravel the delicate balance of peace. Anything and everything from lowly thugs looking for a quick score to Hunters willing to steal from Trainers and even bigger criminal organization rings with underground operations. The most common place for these practices is in the large cities, and for nefarious dealings on the outskirts of settlements. Petty thieves may be easily overturned by strong Trainers, and Hunters range from newbies to those with serious experience. The world is not all a glimmer or a ray of warmth, and now more than ever it is imperative to have a trusted friend.

Team Galactic is a mysterious organization, to outsiders that is. Hardly anything is known about them or their members, nothing of what their mission is or why they wear such odd outfits. Though in some places of the Sinnoh region they don't stick out like that. Be wary if you happen to cross paths with them, you never know what might happen. However, they don't bother to waste their time with weak and unimportant trainers. Grunts fill their lowest ranks and on a rare occasion a Commander is seen. No one outside their community has any inkling about their Boss or overall scheme for things. A wide majority of the population either doesn't recognize them by name or on sight or thinks they are just are harmless little band of folks.

This is where our two Hero's enter the scene. This is a one on one roleplay between Eggburt and Severus Snape. Please refrain from posting otherwise. For this roleplay ten Pokémon may be in a party and they can learn six moves. Our Trainers have each earned at least three Gym Badges and are continuing their quest to earn all eight of them and enter the Sinnoh League. In their travels they will soon learn that danger lies around every corner, even when you'd least expect it.

Leia was born on an early summer's day in the gleaming
Crown City. The night time sky shone with the light of st
ars at the time of her birth and so her parents named her
for the shining star qualities. Shooting through her early
days her black hair lightened to a shade of chestnut. Th
e natural flowing fountain of hair was ever rich in its tex
ture and volume. Battles captivated the young Leia from
an early age. Whenever battle competitions were airing
on the tv she practically had her face glued to the screen
in awe. Another value of importance was nature. The pr
ominent role it played was greatly influenced by Crown
City itself, in which the city is said to be the perfect bal
ance between forest and city, where they coexist harmon
iously. Leia would spend hours wandering through the str
eets where plants grew tall and strong. Off in the distanc
e Mt. Coronet could been seen to the west, it was the tru
e display of power for Leia. Arriving in her late teenage
years, and in the transition period to young adult, she str
ives for greatness and to become on of the region's defen
ders. There is a true desire and passion for Pokémon blaz
ing through her veins. A reserved sense of silent beauty c
ourses through her and she aspires for it to been shown in
her battle style. Leia values the quest to earn all eight G
ym Badges for its own physical, mental, and the special
personal trails it provides. She is ready to prove herself.

Inigo Wren Newleaf was born on January 25th, and is now 18 years old. This young traine
r is cismale, and identifies as pansexual. Inigo was born in Eterna City, where he grew up
learning all about wildlife and nature-loving Pokémon. This has had a great influence on
his life, and it has turned him into the calm, relaxed, and open-minded person he is toda
y. Standing at 5'7" and weighing around 147lbs, Inigo is anything but fearful. He has aver
age looks, with thick, dark brown hair and loving brown eyes. His body is also average, f
ree of any kind of damage. Since he spent almost all of his time within Eterna Forest, he
has adapted a plant-like scent, with a hint of sweetness. He mostly enjoys the simple th
ings, like reading, learning and dancing. He has always been a fan for beautiful things,
which is why he always followed the latest Pokémon Contest news as a child. Inigo dislik
es bullies, loud noises, and sour foods. From an early age, Inigo has always wanted to be
come a true Pokémon trainer like his mother had been. His passion is the combination of
both beauty and battling in one, where he can let his feelings out through that. While he
slowly grew up, he opted to learn all about the Pokémon world, studying book after boo
k. He's very knowledgeable, and strives to learn more. He hadn't received any Pokémon
until later in his days, but that didn't stop him from giving everything he had. In the futu
re, Inigo hopes to become someone people can look up to, and rid the world of it's many
horrible organizations. For now, he travels throughout the Sinnoh region with his dear fr

The sun was shining overhead as Leia walked through the streets of Canalave City. Her Lycanroc was
walking briskly alongside her. She was on route for the local Gym, a Steel type one run by the Leader
Byron. Once she won the Mine Badge she would have a total of five in her collection. Previously she
had emerged victorious from the Bym Battles in Veilstone City, Pastoria City, Hearthome City, and most
recently Oreburgh City. In was at the Ghost type Gym where she met Inigo Newleaf. The two became
friends rather easily and decided to travel with one another in pursuit of earning all eight badges.

In preparation for the steel type challenge Leia reviewed that they were very weak to fire, fighting,
and ground type moves. Thankfully she was already fairly stacked in those means by her team of
Roman, Adonis, Lucina, Titana, and Bellona. Depending on who Byron's first Pokémon was she would
send out either Bellona or Lucina.

As they strolled Leia asked her companion, "Have you ever been out to Iron Island?"

Inigo felt a little out of place coming to Canalave City. It was definitely a lot different compared to his home, Eterna City. In fact, the two almost clashed a little. Although, the water soothed him a little, so it wasn't too bad. He'd also heard of Canalave's huge library, which he hoped he could take a look at before they left. He'd heard many wonderful things about it, and all of its rare books about Pokémon. There was no way he was going to pass up an opportunity like that. However, that wasn't the real reason as to why he was here right now. Leia and him had decided that coming here would be a good idea, after they had each defeated Oreburgh's gym. Byron was an excellent trainer, and specialized in steel-types, which he didn't believe would cause too much trouble for his team.

Breathing in the ocean's fresh air, Inigo smiled. The duo walked together, when Leia decided to break the silence between them with a question. "Iron Island?" he asked, before remembering that he'd read about the famous training place. "Oh, no, I haven't. Is it something you wanted to visit? I'm sure we can make time for it, plus, I read that it's a great place for tougher Pokémon to train," he said softly, giving the other trainer's partner a smile.

Leia listened to Inigo as Romulus sniffed the air. The rock type hadn't been so accustom to the
ocean, most of their journey had taken place on dry land. So this major port city was a new wave
of scents for the Lycanroc. Leia had a great fondness for him, he always gave it his all in battle and
never failed to please her.

"I had thought to visit it, it's said to be a great place for training water types or specifically against
rock and steel types, or any other cave dwelling ones." Leia explained. She continued on to suggest
that they familiarize themselves with the Gym before setting out anywhere else. "Is there anywhere
you would like to visit in addition to the Gym?" She asked Inigo. A faint memory of him mentioning a
place in Canalave City stirred but she couldn't quite place it.

A strong breeze blew by carrying the salty sea air with it and the sounds of Wingull cries off in the
distance. Romulus was gazing out across the harbors where several ships and vessels were docked.
The Wolf Pokémon walked on casually with his tail waving gently from side to side.
