Ocean paused right outside the clearing,and when she was sure it was safe,she walked in.She lowered her head and began grazing. "This is really good!" she commented. "The best I've had in quite some time."

[tbow.]

Shadow nodded and grazed a bit, "yea it grows really good here." he replied and shook his head to try and keep his thick mane out of his eyes.

Ocean kept grazing for a few minutes,savoring the taste of the grass. Then she heard a strange noise off to the south.She lifted her head and cocked her one ear in that direction. "Do you hear that?" She whispered to Shadow.

Shadow lifted his head and listened carefully, "yea I hear it, what is it though?" he wondered outloud.
((gott go for like 20 mins! I'll be back!))

Ocean stared in the direction of the sound. "I've never heard anything like it before." She glanced in Shadow's direction. "Maybe we should hide and see when it comes past."
((ok,I'll be on for a little bit longer,if I get offline I'll be back tommorrow))

Shadow nodded, "that might be best." he said and walked quietly over behind a bush and peered through the thin branches cautiously.

Ocean backed behind the bush next to Shadow. As the noise became louder she laid her ears back fiercely. Along with the first noise she could now hear branches being snapped and torn.

Shadow blinked and fliciked his ears back and tensed, ready to jump out of the way if needed. He glanced at his hoofs as some shadows grew around him but he paid no attention and looked back up through the bush.

Ocean lept away as a big thing came roaring though the clearing. ((it's really some sort of truck,but she doesn't know what it is so she won't call it that)) She wrinkled her nose at the terrible smell coming from it,mixed with the smell of humans. She leapt away,keeping her wings pressed tight against her back so that if there were any men on the thing they wouldn't see them. As she began to gallop she looked behind her to see where Shadow was.

Shadow's eyes widened and he turned, bolting after Ocean, he let the shadows conceal him and he ran under the trees coming up beside Ocean. "I'm right here, come closer, I can cover you with the shadows. Don't worry they won't hurt." he said and made an opening in the shadows to let Ocean come if she wanted.
