Mistycloud rolled lazily from her den, sunlight piercing her eyes. Mousedung! she thought when she realized that she should have been up by now. Her silvery fur messy and tangled from just waking up, she scrambled outside into the sunlight, trying to remember if she had been assigned a patrol. Luckily, no cat seemed to be angry with her, so she allowed herself to sit down and groom her pelt. Although she had a calm demeanor, something didn't feel right about the morning, and an uneasy feeling of dread was creeping up on her from behind.

Puddlepaw sat down next to Irisshine happily, taking a bite of the fish. She nodded at her question, and pushed the fish in her direction. "Of course!" She looked around camp as Irisshine ate, enjoying the quiet of the morning before everyone awoke.

The tom nodded "would you like to eat anything? I could bring it to you " he said. He looked up and tasted the air "seems like there is plentiful prey here today" he meowed.

Brackendash shook his head. "No thank you. I already ate when I woke up." He stood up and stretched, making sure to stretch out each leg fully. He then returned to standing normally and looked around the cats. "Would anyone like to volunteer to lead a hunting patrol?" He called out, knowing that there would likely be volunteers on a day like this.
