what team are you on?; red, whichever one that is. I don't do the battle side, more the collecting if anything ^^

I recently got back in to the game, and leveled up to 20 today, woo!

The new gen makes me vvv happy. I've mostly grabbed Swinub, Wooper, Natu, Murkrow, Sentret and Chinchou. I've also caught Aipom, Marill, Remoraid, Hoothoot, Noctowl, Misdreavous, Hoppip and Sneasel. EU region in a city. I'm going to be so sad going home to my minimal pokestop town D;[/size]

I have a similar problem but with magikarp. And obviously I don't want to waste my 400 candies on that.

I caught a 133 magikarp 5 levels ago and havent seen anything stronger than that since. The appraisal is the best possible, but the CP is on the lower side. Just today I caught a magikarp who is 155. The appraisal is a bit worse ("has caught my attention" but "its stats exceed my calculations"), but the cp is obviously higher. And recently magikarp have been very rare around here, been trying to get those last 20 candies for a good month now and I'm still like 10 or so away.

The lower CP/best stats gyarados is estimated to be around cp 2115
The higher CP/bit worse stats gyarados is estimated to be around cp 2400

What to do? :')

I'd go for the one with high IVs, personally. IVs are set, but CP can change. Obviously it'll take a lot of work to get the candies you need to max the Gyarados, but it'll be worth the effort, in my opinion. Of course you might just end up with a Twister Gyarados and then it doesn't matter whether it's got good IVs or CP, haha.

1 Sentret
1 Marill
1 Swinub
1 Murkrow
and a Seel!

Also got enough candies to evolve my eevee.
Now the question is:
Umbreon or Espeon? x)

oh, also something weird happened today. I hatched a Exeggcute from a 2km egg??
I'm 1000% sure the egg was green when it hatched. I've recently seen a great influx of 2km eggs, so most of the eggs on me at the time were green. Has anyone else seen a change in what hatches from where?

That happened to me as well I think they changed what phone Pokémon hatch from eggs I got a Exeggcute from a 2km egg too.

AHHH IT WAS A GOOD DAY

I caught all 3 starters which is so exciting because Totodile is my fav of all starters ever <3 and he has excellent stats and good cp to start with so I just hope I can get the candies to make him a big strong feraligatr one day
