to change the color you need to add a layer above the background, color it with whatever color you please, and then you can set the layer
to overlay (or whatever other option looks the best, I recommend cycling through them) to change the backgrounds color <3
if that doesn't work out, you can just turn the color layer's opacity down until you're satisfied with how it looks~
