she smiled as he walked away into his own bedroom. before she went to she decided to clean up the space a bit. she started by folding up the blanket neatly, and rested it on the arm of the sofa. brook grabbed the cushions and put them back neatly. the floor was covered in popcorn, so she picked it up and binned it. she picked up the remove to the television, and turned it off. she spotted the kitten sat on the rug, and picked her up carefully. brook held the kitten to her chest, careful not to disturb her sleep. brook headed for the guest room, and laid down on the bed. she placed the cat beside her, petting it before falling asleep.

harper woke up bright and early. he noticed his apartment looked neater, and realized brook must have cleaned up. he blushed, embarrassed he let her clean up without him. he made her some tea, and him some coffee. he put the cups on the table, his ear twitching as teagan clawed at the guest room door.

as the cat dragged it's paws carelessly across the wooden door, brook blinked her eyes open, sitting up in bed. it took her a few moments to realize that teagan was trying to leave the room. brook instantly felt guilty for keeping the kitten in the room with her all night long. hoping the cat hadn't been waiting a long time, brook dragged herself out of bed and over to the door. she placed her paw on the handle, and opened the door. teagan quickly left the room, and ran somewhere in the apartment. brook rubbed her eyes before leaving the room. "mornin' harper." she greeted happily, smiling as she hugged him from behind. her arms were wrapped around his torso, her head resting his back.

"top of the morning, sleeping beauty." he chuckled, smiling as she hugged him. he handed her some scrambled eggs, a little nervous she had a disliking for the food. he was quite the happy man with brook. he watched as teagan ran across the floor.

"i did some tidying up before i headed off to dream land last night. i hope you don't mind." she said, sitting down at the table. she smiled as scrambled eggs were handed to her. brook put the plate down onto the table, and began to eat the warm food. "thank you love, this tastes wonderful!" she commented after swallowing her mouthful. teagan ran across the floor of the kitchen, and sheput her hand down and held it out. teagan came towards here, and she ran her paw over teagan's pelt.

harper smiled as brook ran her hand over teagan. it was obvious brook loved cats. "have i been replaced?" he said dramatically. he put his hand to his forehead, a cliche action when a character is shocked.
