quick question, is wings and three tails to over-powered? or can i keep my character that way?

Multiple tails are fine, but wings aren't currently a trait available to kitsucorns.

For centuries, everyone feared of going into the dark forest that stood at the edge of the nice little Kitsucorn town. Rumors whispered on the streets that if you wandered for long enough, you would stumble upon a castle that stood on top of the tallest hill of all, but hidden in plain sight! Those who went into the castle never returned from it. Long ago, a bold young Kitsucorn had decided he would settle these preposterous rumors by going into the castle himself and coming back out alive in order to release the fear that was put into the town about the dark forest. But when he did wander into the forest and stumbled across the castle, he had met the most beautiful lady he had ever seen in his whole life and fell madly in love with her. Time passed, and the man who was no longer younger, returned from the castle. No one knew how he had escaped. Some said that he killed the lady in order to escape because she wouldn’t let him go. Others said that she let him go so that he would tell more people about her in order to attract more people to the castle.

"Chicken! I bet you can't even take one step into the cursed forest!" A few boys jeered at him. The boy cowered back and looked unhappy and unwilling to go into the forest. He had a family, a home, and didn't want to loose any of them just because of a stupid bet.

"Well? Are you going to go or are we going to cut your hair off?" A guy smirked at the kid and watched as he reluctantly gave in and stepped into the forest. It was eerily silent. All the trees were pitch black, as if burnt by a fire and never had the strength to grow back, and not a single sign of life could be seen for miles. It sent goosebumps up the boy's back.

After walking around and being convinced he was lost forever, he stumbled across the hill with very convient steps made of pure marble that led up straight up. He put a hoof on it and gasped. It was so cold and smooth. The boy wanted to turn back now and say he lied and went to the castle, but something deep down urged him onward.

After climbing up the steps, he was presented with a large, black castle that from a distance, did indeed mask it from the public eye. He stared in awe and went up to the door, full of nervous excitement.

"Here’s the place.” The boy said to himself as he mustered up every ounce of courage he had and walked into the castle nervously.

He was all alone and was dared to go into the haunted castle. Antiques dating as far back as the proclaimation for kitsucorns to live on this land could be seen all around the place. The boy looked around before calling out, "H-hello? Is anyone there?"

Silence.

The boy slowly got more courage and grinned to himself in victory of winning the bet. "Pfft! This isn’t even scary!” He said confidently to himself. He wandered around it for quite some time, looking at all the castle had to offer. "I'm surprised that there's no ghosts with how old this place seems to be. I told them that this place wasn’t haunted!” He chuckled and felt another course of energy surge through him. "Bring it! You can’t scare me!” He smirked as he kicked over a table, which broke a pot full of roses.


Soon after he destroyed the flowers and table came whispering noises all around him. Come to meeeeeee… The whispers said. “Oh no! I woke up the spirits.” He rolled his eyes as he kept walking around. “This place isnt even all that bad! Those rumors were just lies. I can’t wait to get back to my fri-“ He was cut off by unsteady creaking noises behind him. Turning around, he saw a masked figure who held a bloody axe who slowly made their way towards them. The boy stopped and paled before screaming and running off into a basement.

Frantically looking for the light switch, the noises only got louder as the figure got closer to them. He quickly found them and looked around, spotting a bat. He grabbed it and hid behind the door and turned off the lights just as the figure got to the door. Instead of bursting into the room, the figure scratched on the door for a few minutes to scare the boy, then opened the door. The figure slowly made their way into the room. The boy watched the figure in horror, then boldly hit the figure in the head with the bat. “Stay away from me!” He yelled as he ran back up the stairs.

The boy finally stopped running and was panting, scared for his life as he tried to catch his breath. The figure gained consciousness and got up as they ignored the throbbing pain on their head. They quietly made their way back up the stairs from the basement, looking for the boy once more. Once the boy had rested for long enough, he quietly walked around the castle that he was now lost in, clutching his bat tightly to himself. The figure listened intensely for the footsteps of the scared boy and soon knew where he was at.

At a much quicker pace than before, the figure made its way for him. The boy didn’t hear the figure but instead, the whispering noise again. Follow meeeeee… I can help you……. Essscape… The rasping whispers told the boy. He was so scared and desperate that he started following the whispers. The figure heard the whispers as well and was now running towards them, to get to the boy. The boy made its way down a long hallway which there stood a single door. Come… The thing whispered to the boy. The boy walked inside and looked around. "Hey where are you?!" The desperate boy cried out. There in the room stood a single mirror. He frowned and slowly looked into it. The figure ran down the long hallway and stopped dead at the door.

It was already too late.

The figure silently watched as the boy’s soul was taken into the mirror forever. The figure sighed as they took off a skull mask, revealing brilliant blue eyes and hair as dark and beautiful as a raven's feather.

“Too bad you couldn’t save that soul, Ebony. Now it’s mine forever!” The demon whom possessed the mirror whispered into her ear and filled the empty room with laughter at her failure to save the boy.

The woman who had tried to "scare" the boy only had done so to save him from the horrible fate that so many other people have met with the mirror. It is her curse. She will forever remain beautiful and young but in return, young men's spirits will be consumed by a wretched beast who lives in the mirror.

She can not leave the castle, and can not directly stop the beast.

All Ebony can do is hope that her true love will find her and set her free.
