@MotherMother your headshot looks great! the only suggestions i have is that while the hair is shaded it still looks flat because the shading is uniform, there should be lighter areas where the light hits....this stuff is hard to explain with just words so i did a lil shading "redline" in photoshop real quick:

some pointers..
1) like i was saying with the hair, light doesn't really hit uniformly, so even if you shade hair with the "strands" like your original you probably won't see the strands all the way through..if that makes sense
2) ears are always..opposite? when you shade them. i dont exactly remember why but it has to do with curves or something
3) don't restrict yourself to just shading with black or a darker hue of the exact color! a good trick is to use any pastel color on a "multiply" layer on top of your base colors. it adds depth and keeps your colors from getting washed out
4) stay away from any color too close to black because it's almost impossible to shade
im not a master by any means so take my advice with a grain of salt ofc :~)

I haven't had much time to develop her but I was thinking something along the lines of either a bitter kal who too easily falls in love/is cursed for bad relationships, or a fabled kalon who is, as her design was based on, "Dark Cupid". Once I decide and define her personality a bit more I'll be looking for some relationships :> however if you want to talk to me about relationships now I'm totally up to it
