Ghostkit woke with a shiver, and sat up slowly. Looking around, she saw three bundles of fur, Burningkit, Smallstep, and Poppyspots. At first, she thought Grasskit was at the dirt-place, but after taking a quick trip there herself, and returning to the nursery with no sign of him, she pressed on Smallstep's fur, trying to wake the queen up. Smallstep, where's Grasskit? Is he playing a game? Can I play too?

Orchidpaw woke up and snapped open her eyes. She counted her denmates- no one was missing. A stress in her heart unclenched. She then walked out and scented the air. There was no death smell. Maybe we did it! Orchidpaw thought, hope rising. We finally got the killer! The apprentice took a piece of prey from the fresh-kill pile, and then froze when she heard Ghostkit's voice from the nursery. ohnononono She dropped the mouse and rushed to the nursery. "Grasskit? Where is he?"

Ghostkit heard pawsteps racing to the nursery, and got off of Smallstep in time to see Orchidpaw staring into the nursery, asking where Grasskit was. Ghostkit made a pouting face I don't know, and everyone else is sleeping she perked up Do you know where he is? Oo!! Is he playing hide 'n seek?
