Sakura smiled and glanced over at the black Moonchaser dog again before looking up at her own Alpha. She was glad that this was actually going to happen, perhaps she could get to know that Moonchaser dog better.

Serenity nodded, Well I'm not going...I already have a mate in mind... she thought with a smile and let her tail rest over her paws.

Markus didn't exactly have any plans to join in the program, he glanced over at Serenity. She was the one he wanted, he just hoped that he was the one she wanted too. Dogs above, I hope she loves me half as much as I do. He thought, glancing over at her again.

Brilla knew she wouldn't need the program, she already had her eyes set on Shuichi, but if her love for him was rejected, then she'd join, but she prayed that that would never happen.

Serenity glanced over at Markus and saw that he was looking at her. As her cheeks flustered, she looked up at him fully and smiled before nervously kneading her paws.

Markus saw Serenity looking at him and smiled when she became flustered, she had to like him, it was the only thing he could think of that could merit such a response. This fact gave him courage, if only for awhile. He felt like if he didn't utilize this new found courage as soon as possible, it would slip away for good. He gulped ever so slighty and started to pad towards her, but the meeting seemed to begin breaking up, the issue which everyone had come to discuss had been resolved. "Come on everyone, it's time to go back to camp." Sapphiera said.

Serenity looked up at Sapphiera and dipped her ears slightly since it seemed that Markus was going to go up to her. With a sigh, she stood up and began to follow the Luna back to Moonchaser territory.

Markus could feel the courage slipping as they walked, he knew he had to talk to Serenity soon. He padded over to her and whispered in her ear, "I need to talk to you alone, wanna stop here for a moment?" He asked, thinking it'd be over quickly enough that they could easily catch uo with the rest.

Serenity turned her head and felt her heart begin to beat rapidly and she couldn't speak. She nodded and stopped walking so Markus could talk to her.

Markus could feel the bravery begin to slip away even faster, he knew he had to do this right now. He looked at her and prayed that he wouldn't mess this up. "I-I love you Serenity." He said, looking down at his paws, he was afraid to look at her face, but he quickly glanced at her expression and then quickly looked back down.

Serenity felt her heart stop when she heard those three words from Markus, "Y-you do?" she asked and looked at him with curious eyes.

"Yes, I do." He said, still sort of look at his paws, but he did glance up at her to see her face.
