Basil laughed. "Oliver, it's okay. She has a point. I wish I could climb trees that easily. Being stuck on the ground isn't exactly fun.

Oliver smiled down at the wolf. Basil seemed friendly enough. "True, but she still doesn't have to be rude."

Basil just smiled. "Can you two just come down a few branches? My neck is starting to hurt."

Oliver slid down lower until she was sitting level with Basil's muzzle. Luna followed but stayed two branches higher than Oliver.
