Beetlenose hsmiled this time. "Burdock Root. It..." she trailed off, scraping her mind. Oh, yes! Burdock Root help with the pain of rat bites. That is why you have never seen it, probably," the small she-cat said, turning to grab another herb. She grabbed another one, surely Fadedecho would know this one, especially with its addicting smell. "This one is easy. What does Catmint do, Fadedecho?" she asked, placing the herb in front of the larger black cat.

Tallwind nodded. "Yeah, it feels nice to have it shining on my fur!" he said with a small smile, his fluffy orange fur suddenly not so useful. He turned to Leafclaw, his smile never leaving his face. "If we don't have anything to do, we could hunt together today!" he suggested, flicking his tail. He stood up and stretced. "It could be fun!" he said cheerfully.

Leafclaw smiked and meowed. "Okay!" She said it happily. No trace of her being upset.

sandclaw rested his head on top of hers, purring ever so softly. "until the end of time." he whispered after her. a sudden overwhelming surrounded his heart and he felt like bursting into tears right then and there. but, he didn't. he remained strong for hollytail and for the future that laid before them. sandclaw couldn't wait to see what laid ahead and was even more eager than when he first discovered his true feelings toward her, long ago. this was the beginning, but also the end. the end of his suffering, having to deal with his pain when they couldn't be together, but also the beginning of endless possibilities. he couldn't wait to see what those were.

greypaw shook his head softly, not giving up on pointing out how lilypaw was to thank, and not him. "listen, lilypaw." he said in a soft voice, pausing as he thought of what to say. "you have been with me until the end of time. ever since i met you, i have... been forever grateful. i'm forever grateful for you, lilypaw." he admitted, but this time he didn't look down at his paws shyly. he was done hiding his feelings for her. he only hoped she understood where he was going, and that she felt the same way.

as beetlenose came up with an excuse as to why he got it incorrect, he smiled in appreciation. he knew that she didn't actually think of him as intelligent, but at least she didn't say it out loud. instead, she did the opposite. she kept quiet whenever he made a mistake. they both knew very well that he had much to learn and he was going to make a few mistakes along the way, and that is why fadedecho wasn't too hard on himself when that did happen. "makes sense." he nodded in his agreement. "it helps sick cats with greencough or whitecough. come on, i knew that when i was a kit!" he joked. it was obvious she was going easy on him, and he couldn't help but laugh. "give me a challenge, please."

"Hollytail! Sandclaw!" Thornpaw chuckled. "What are you guys doing?" He laughed. Maplepaw tackled him and said. "Shush!" Hollytail purred and licked Sandclaw's neck. "I love you."

(Just saying, Hollytail's and Rowanflame's kits shoukd be apprentices.)

sandclaw purred, returning the lick. "i love you too, hollytail." he looked into her eyes for a brief moment before the two apprentices interrupted their moment. sandclaw rolled his eyes at the two, "don't you guys have any respect for privacy?" he asked as he straightened his posture and then glared at thornpaw, then maplepaw. "never-mind that, what did you guys want?" he asked out of curiosity.

Maplepaw rolled her eyes. "This is how you treat your kit?" Maplepaw teased her dad. "I just wanted to say, about time you two got together!"

sandclaw rolled his eyes simultaneously with maplepaw. it was no surprise that she was going to do so, maplepaw was always rolling her eyes, especially when she teased him. she seemed to like to do that a lot, but he didn't mind. they had a relationship where they both teased each other often. "and this is how you treat your father." he smirked, cuffing her around the ear playfully. he released her, and nodded. "i was thinking the same exact thing every moment we were apart." sandclaw purred and looked over at hollytail, who happened to now be his mate once more.
