Linneic dismounted his grey mare, Ryn, and led her to the post next to Shade's. He pulled out a small coin purse and tossed it to the stablekeeper, who was a friend of his. He stoked Ryn's mane a few times before walking over to Shade.

The grey eyed Nord was tall and muscular. His muscles could be seen rippling through his armor and he walked. Hints of his grey hair could be seen peeking out from under his hood, along with his stubble.

Nic walked surefootedly over to her and walked alongside her the drawbridge.

"Alright, thanks for telling me." Conavin said. "Maybe Mercer would take kindness on me and let me stay?" he asked in a dry tone while rolling his eyes. He looked around for any hidden exits, realizing that he only knew one way out. "Is there another way out or do I have to climb up the ladder?" he asked dreadfully. He looked at Raavi, praying that there was an easier way out.

"If you don't feel like climbing all of that way, there is another route. You would need to go back into the bar, walk straight away from it, and there would be a door. You would then go left and up a small stairway, where a bridge will take you to the entrance of Riften. You'll appear under the docks then, where you can go through the city gates, then to the left from the stables. If you continue that way, you'll eventually see the GoldenGlow estate." Raavi finished, pausing for a moment. "Was that too much at once? Do I have to write it down for you?" she asked, a hint of joking-ness in her voice.

The pair walked in silence as they got to the front gate.
Shade looked to the guar that was in the left as he eyes her up a down. An odd sneer coming across his face. "No elves inside the city. New order for Jarl." He said in a thick, Nordic accent. Shade's face fell before she frowned and stepped closer to the guard. "Do you really expect me to believe that? I have more friends than you think and if you don't let me inside this city, this will be your last post for the rest of your life. Now, I advice you to spare your own life and open up the damn gate." Shade said in a low, angry tone. The other guard seemingly unsure of what his friend was talking about but helped him open the gate. The dark elf looked at Linneic with an apologetic smile before walking casually inside of the city. "I always loved this city." She stated calmly once when he walked inside as well.

Linneic nodded, keeping silent after the uncomfortable occurrence with the guard. He just kept his buck weighted across his shoulders as he followed Shade inside Whiterun. He could tell the Elf was used to racism, and how it didn't seem to affect her as much as it should've.

Their arrival into the city drew in attention from some of the town's folk, all of which Nic were friendly with. A small group of kids ran up to Nic and greeted him happily. "Nic, will you teach me to hunt?" A small boy asked eagerly as he eyed the buck on his shoulders. Nic knew the group of three boys didn't have a father to teach them, only a working mother. They lived in a poorer part of the city ever since their father was killed in battle. "I promised, didn't I?" Nic replied as he crouched down to face the Nord boy. The boy grinned and the other two boys pestered him with questions much like the first. Nic chuckled at them and gave them each some septims. "Go buy some treats, but share with your sister," he said as they ushered off towards the vendors in the center of town.

Linneic looked at Shade apologetically. "Do you mind if we make a quick stop before going to Jorrvaskr?"

Shade watched as the young boys bombarded the tall male. She chuckled softly to herself as they bugged him to teach them how to hunt. After the boys ran off giggling and happy Linneic spoke. The dark elf nodded. "Yeah, I don't mind." She stated calmly. Shade was a lot shorter than the male but her height was right for her stealth and quick sword movements. Her darker white hair began to drape a few loose strands in front of her face. Allowing her hood to fall, she calmly fixed her air.

Nic's eyes wondered over her face once her hood fell. He studied her sharp features and plump lips for a few moments before leading the way to the butcher shop. He led her inside and greeted the hearty man with a nod. "I'd like you to clean the buck and send the meat to Arleigh and her kids," he said as he set the buck down on the counter and pulled out his coin purse. "Keep your septims, Nic," the man said as he picked up the and disappeared through a door.

Linneic and Shade made their way back outside and towards Jorrvaskr. The nord looked ahead, studying everyone around them. "Are you excited to see Kodlak?" He asked as they started up the steps to Jorrvaskr.

The young women walked into the meat shop with Linneic and the thick smell of blood instantly hit her small nostrils. It was a very strong and potent smell but she got used to it rather quickly. The man behind the counter was on the plumper side but he had a happy orura around him which made her relax a bit. Men and sometimes women that were my larger than her had an tendency to make her feel small and weak.
As the pair left the shop they began to make their way towards the stairs of Jorrvaskr. Linneic snapped Shade out of her thoughts with a question about Kodlak. Her face lit up at his question and she smiled. "Yes; he's a good friend. I havnt seen him in quite some time. He's a father figure to me." The dark elf said in a sweet voice.
The duo entered into Jorrvaskr and the orura was friendly and welcoming; which was a constant occurance. Shade said hello to her friends before she spotted the old man in a corner sitting on one of the wooden chairs. The dark elf sauntered over to the old man and embraced him in a big hug and he hugged her in return. "Ah Shade, I have missed you. How have you been dear?" The dark elf's smile grew and brightened. "I have missed you too Kodlak. I have been well. Just doing the usual. How have you been?" Shade said as she left the warm embrace of the man. "I have been doing better dear- but I have seen you walk in with one of our newest recruits. Linneic is his name; right? He hasn't agreed to joining the inner circle but maybe with you in the picture he might make up his mind." Kodlak smiled and Shade blushed a dark crimson as she looked to Linneic.

Linneic greeted several fellow Companions as he followed Shade to Kodlak. He was stopped by Farkas close by Shade and Kodlak. Farkas told Nic of his latest hunt and accident, which was immensely amusing. Farkas and Linneic laughted heartily, and Nic's hood fell off in the process.

The Nord's features were chiseled and rugged. His eyes were a stormy grey, which alternated in darkness and lightness depending on his mood. His hair was unusually grey too, which for his age, was unheard of. Nic had a good amount of grey stubble on his lower face. Linneic was an attractive Nord who had a good heart and mind, which most adored about him.

Linneic met Shade's eyes and noticed that she was blushing. It must've been something Kodlak said.

Shade looked up at Linneic and her eyes met his. She got lot in his grey eyes and it took a minute for her to steer herself away. Pushing a strand of hair behind her ear and blushing a darker red as she looked to the ground. Kodlak noticed that Linneic was done his conversation with Farkas. "Ah, Linneic. It is nice to see a fresh face around here. Have you made your decision yet young man?" Kodlak asked before he flicked his attentions between Shade and the Nord. "Also; I've seen you two strolled in her together, how do you guys know each other?" The old man looked at Linneic skeptically with a raised white eyebrow; curious of his answer.
