"we'll have leftovers." he shrugged, taking a bite of his pizza. honestly, it was the best food he's had in months. it was fresh, but yet crunchy, and the sauce really gave it a new taste. "what do you think of your food?"

brook picked up her knife and fork, holding the pieces of cutlery in her paws. she cut a bit of the food and bought it to her mouth, chewing on the delicious food."it's great!" she exclaimed, before covering her mouth with her paw where she was still eating. she swallowed it. "it's great, but i hardly made a dent." she said, looking at the plate.

harper swallowed his bite. "it'll be good for future dinners." he chuckled. he cut up his pizza, and ate another piece. it was really good, and he was glad he got to come here with brook. she seemed to enjoy her food, and it made him all fuzzy inside, knowing she was pleased with the dinner.

she carried on eating the meal, casting quick glances at harper every so often. by the time brook had eaten just under half of her meal, she'd gotten full. "i'm stuffed. it's such great food but i can't eat anymore. she stated, leaning backwards into the chair. "i'll probably explode if i eat any more than i have."

harper chuckled. he had finished his meal, and was quite full. he was really pleased brooklyn enjoyed her meal. harper was about to get up to ask for the check, when a waiter came by. she wasn't their original waiter. she had blonde hair, put into a loose ponytail. she had a large tail, and a white smile. "did you enjoy your meal?" she asked, turning her head to harper. as if she forgot brooklyn was present, she winked at harper. "i'm free tonight, so if you'd like to come over." harper blushed, embarrassed. he kept glancing at brooklyn, as if she had all the answers.

brook bit down on her tongue to stop herself from throwing a verbal storm at the other kalon. she was much prettier than her too, so she was surprised harper hadn't got up and left with her yet. she was waiting for harper to say or do something but he never did. brook glared at the kalon bitterly, and cleared her throat. "actually he has plans. he's not a child anymore. he doesn't like to play with barbie dolls."

"y-y-y-yeah!" he blurted. he honestly had no interest in the kalon, and pushed her away. he squeezed brooklyn's hand, and nodded to the strange kalon. he quickly payed at front, and hurried out. he had been swearing under his breath for the past few seconds, but stared blankly into the rain as they walked out. it was pouring.

brook personally wasn't bothered about the rain, and carried on walking. the rain was pouring down onto her, soaking her to the bone. her hair was starting to become loose, and she felt it slowly falling down. her fur had become drenched, but she wasn't bothered about the cold. brook turned around to face harper. "well are you coming or not?" she asked, giggling as the rain poured down onto her.

harper followed her, shivering as the cold droplets soaked to his skin. he pushed his hair out of his face. he kicked a puddle up at her legs, smirking as it splashed against her fur.

brook started to laugh as they splashed water at each other. it reminded her of when they were at the beach, and when they found their cat. brook saw a puddle that looked fairly deep. since it was right next to harper, she jumped in it, and the water landed on harpers legs, soaking the blue fur. she laughed as they messed about.
