I already could find porygon in my area, I knew that. This event has made them nutsy frequent. Even got my first chansey right on the same spot as a porygon too. I love it =D

I'm really enjoying this event so far.

Double candy and shorter buddy distances is a great combination (72 charmander candies and counting). The fact that lures last 6 hours is insane. I'm happily surprised with Niantic for that one. On top of that, the spawn rates. Just, wow.

So on my way to the city this morning on the bus, on top of the millions of Jigglypuffs I passed, I managed to catch a Chansey! That's so insane to me, since Chansey and Aerodactyl are the two Pokemon I was convinced don't actually exist haha. Never seen one on my radar or in a gym, until I caught one today. I'm really glad to have that dex entry. I probably looked like such a dork grinning on the bus.

The increased Clefairy spawns are pretty awesome, too. I don't have a Clefable yet, and I'm one catch away from one now. They're also pretty darn rare where I live. I might even catch a Clefable if I'm lucky with this event.

I don't feel like Porygon should qualify for the event, just feels like the wrong kind of pink for me (plus half of it is blue), but I'm still really happy to see them all over the place.

Anyway, I managed to have a huge stroke of luck at the bus station in the city today. Right when I arrived, there was a freaking Kabutops. Can't believe I've now caught an Omastar and a Kabutops before I ever had remotely enough candies to evolve one. e_e

I did get my luck a little balanced though. I hatched two 2k eggs today. First was a Weedle. Second was a Caterpie. >->

Whats weird is, I think I'm seeing an increase in mr mimes, the ghosts and raticates as well. I'd get the mr mime, though the others dont seem to make any sense to me.

Agh, I don't think I'll be going out for pool on sunday, so I may decide to walk tomorrow at hatch another egg.
I don't normally go walk on the weekends, but my step-dad came back from a trip, so LOL I'm out, ppfff.

On a semi-different note; I've almost got enough Candies to evolve one of my two Holiday Pikachu. I'd had to start over almost completely on candies when they first came out, so it's been v-slow goin'.

Well, Mr. Mime and Ditto are pink too.
I've recently caught another Ditto and had some hard to catch Rattata/Pidgeys that ran away which might've been Dittos too.

I like that Porygon is a part of the event too, saving all my candies for a possible Porygon2 in the future. ^.^

My spawn spots changed to Exeggcute/Scyther, not that bad either. I still need an Exeggutor with good IV and better attacks. And of course candy to level him up.

I've been worried recently. At this rate it seems like gen2 might fully come out around the 1 years anniversary of the game. Does that mean we'd literally have to wait a whole new year for the next gen? and the next?
Like I don't mind giving us time to actually catch all the pokemon, but.. thats so many years to get to the newer gens :')

recently I saw a togepi and I thought "Wow gen2 is already out?!" And then a igglybuff appeared on the nearby list but I didn't find it. I think it's already out,but its very rare to find/catch.

I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to find Togepi and Igglybuff in the wild, as well as any other Gen II Pokemon.

There are massive online networks, like The Silph Road, dedicated to crowdsourcing information and data mining the game and every update that comes with it. If it was possible to catch the baby Pokemon in the wild, we'd already be seeing screenshots, people would be freaking out, Niantic would at some stage make an official post about it, and it would have likely been found in the game's coding.

That, and considering that there are millions of players with smart phones and iPhones, there would be plenty of screenshots by now. Shinies are supposed to be the rarest things in the actual pokemon games. Even if they were a 1 in 4,000 chance to find, like shinies, there'd still be loads of screenshots uploaded to the internet by now because of the millions amounts of players worldwide.

At the moment, the only way to get a Togepi or an Igglybuff is to hatch one from an egg. The only Gen II Pokemon in the game are the baby Pokemon, minus Tyrogue.

Likely, the next Pokemon we'll see will be Umbreon and Espeon. Apparently they have been found in the coding of an update that came out a while ago. Same thing happened with Ditto. They added the coding in the game, and then a few weeks later made it live.

Went out for about an hour today - in one of our local parks were 5 active lures. Only caught either easy to catch Pokémon with a low level or usually rarer ones due to not having enough pokeballs >w<

Nevermind, got at least 2 Clefairy and 1 Exeggcute and some other nice ones. With giving them straight away to the Prof, I got 8 candy for each pokemon, that's so good. Will probably give away ALL pokémon I can spare to the prof so that I get the maximum amount of candy during the event. Can catch more pokemon to evolve later anyway.
Next lucky egg is still far away, so I have enough time. c:
