history; Toraneko grew up in an orphanage for most of his life; becoming friends with a daydreamer named Tamago (psst... run that into Google Translate and translate it from japanese XD) and often getting into small amounts of mischief with him.
One day, however, Tora found himself saving a child from a crazy car-accident, and was soon recognized as a town hero.
Tamago was shattered by this, however, and wanted to get at least half of the attention his friend did... So, one day, Tamago tricked Tora into leaving town and attempted to kill him out of brooding jealousy; but failed as Tora managed to escape.
Tora never went back to his hometown, wandering until he managed to settle down somewhere thanks to a young landlord--about five or so years older than him--who offered Tora a place he was renting out.
Tora's been doing good deeds for the landlord ever since; and the landlord is grateful of it. However, Tora still can't help getting into some mischief once in a while--especially if it involves a cute girl... cough i combined the dreamworks story with the original fairytale cough

So that remaining in the confines of her sheltered walls is in her best. Though one day while her mother was out she took her pet lizard and escaped not hearing from her mother again. She now lives in an apartment and keeps her power serect.

he, at the orphanage, wasn't good at friendships, so often spent his time alone outside and in the woods where he could be himself.
roukan developed a rather, excessive craving for meat, even raw meat, that he couldn't get over. the orphanage, who put pity on the child, took time to work with him and try to make him feel less like a monster. roukan still kept his distance, and never found a 'real' family, which, by the time it was too late, he didn't want.

personality (optional); Kichirou loves to meet new people! Unfortunately, he doesn't trust himself enough to be around others often, however the school has been great for that. His emotions are always close to the surface, and when emotion is running high, his power is soon to follow. He's incredibly suspicious of others motives, not trusting that someone would want to get close to him without an ulterior motive. Before coming to the academy, he didn't often leave the mansion grounds, and he focused his energy into maintaining an elaborate flower garden, though he's hoping to expand into veggies soon.
Kichirou can be fairly dense at times, as a result of not being around people often, he can be bad at taking a hint, or 'reading the mood'. He tries to work through it through cheer, positivity, and hoping for the best.

There has been nothing 'lucky' about Kichirou's life, not since he'd turned nine, transformed into a beast, and accidentally destroyed parts of the mansion in fright. ever since then, the people at the mansion had slowly disappeared- maids were no longer hired, in fear of the secret coming out. The groundskeeper, Kichirou's companion and the one who'd given him his love of gardening, was soon dismissed as well. His relatives had found out about his secret, and like a curse, they'd blackmailed his parents into loaning them out massive amounts of money. And like his own personal curse of bad luck, it wasn't long before his parents were caught in a car crash that ended their lives.
He had better control of his beast transformation before the accident, but with the loss of his parents and his own mental stability, Kichirou has a tendency to rampage more than anything else. The one stroke of good fortune in all of this was meeting Aiko, his best friend. whenever he makes something (an abandoned mansion can get boring) he likes to give it to her as a gift. It's been mostly flower chains and small wooden carvings, but recently he's decided to try baking. he'd love to have more people to give his cakes to.
