Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

Riverclan, nearly halved by the repeated murders plaguing them, were once again gathered beneath highrock in another attempt to purge the killer from their midst. Each cat's stare was hard and untrusting, skittish and afraid that their lives might be next. When Daisystar stood atop the highrock she was met with an uneasy silence, one she didn't immediately try to dispel. "C-cats of- of Riverclan... who's next?" There was a dry note to her voice that seemed to be draped loosely over exhaustion. Very few cats spoke up, and those who did spoke curtly and quietly went silent. The small leader waited for any more voices to rise from the crowd, but none came. Firefeather seemed almost eager to break away from the gathered cats, eyes wild as half-hearted hisses followed his retreat. The tom paused at the reeds, though, and turned his gaze to his former family. His head dipped in a sober farewell, catching each cat with a nervous stare and looking as if he were going to speak. No words came out of his parted maw, instead he just dipped his head again and vanished between the stalks.
Firefeather wasn't nearly as lucky as his previously lucky clanmates were. Shortly after he left clan territory, the poor tom was hit by a monster trying to chase down a mouse. His spirit rests peacefully in Starclan now, safe from the danger that still looms over his former clan.
