One day we were out of camp, as we were finally apprentices, and a fox attacked. I got away, but it got them. They begged for help, but I did nothing. I didn't fetch help, just watched as they were torn apart, leaving them for dead."he didn't add the parts about how his 'siblings' had attempted to kill him before the fox came by. Or how they had tried to kill him when he was a kit.

Ashpaw gave him a smile and nuzzled him affectionately.
"It's fine. I understand how you feel."
