Appletwig needed to take only one look at Frostflower before he knew how
she died. "It was poisoning," he said. "Someone poisoned her."

"Yeah, you!" said someone from the crowd that had gathered. Shouts of
agreement soon followed, as the Clan reasoned that only a medicine cat could
have poisoned one of their own.

"I- No, I didn't--!" Appletwig's shouts were soon quieted and he fled the Clan,
spending the rest of his days as a kittypet, occasionally wandered up to the
Moonstone or healing another.

Back in ThunderClan, Graystar had a duty to perform. "We have two
apprentices" who need a mentor," she said once she had leapt up onto the
Highrock. "Foxtail, my loyal mentor," she said, nodding to the tom standing
near her, "will mentor Bristlepaw. I myself will mentor Nettlepaw. These times
are troubling but we cannot lose faith in one another. We will get through it soon
enough." With that, she leapt down and the Clan scattered, ready for sleep.

You have just exiled your medicine cat, an innocent bystander! Hurry up

"Foxtail!" someone hissed in the deputy's ear. "Something's wrong!"

The orange tom sprang to his feet. "What?" he asked. "Did- Did someone die?"
Again?

"N-no," said the other. "Not yet."

Before Foxtail could move, the killer sprang upon them and buried their teeth
in his neck. Stumbling under the sudden weight, he twisted himself around and
the other was flung off of him. Quicker than he could believe, they sprang
towards him again. Though the night was dark, it was nearing dawn and Foxtail
could suddenly see the face of the killer.

"You!" he gasped. Those were his final words, as the killer took advantage of his
distraction and dealt a killing blow. Up in StarClan, Foxtail's spirit cursed as he
realized that it was up to his living Clanmates to avenge his death.

Choose the next cat wisely, ThunderClan, as each wrong move brings you
closer to destruction!

Robinmask was up earlier than the rest, he yawned as the sun could be seen, it was very soon after dawn that the tom decided to go for a walk the cat padded out of the camp, his eyes blinking tiredly. Robinmask stretched before catching the scent of blood, the clan had just exiled appletwig - the murderer, or at least they hoped. The tom padded toward the stench, and gaped as he came upon the body of foxtail, "Foxtail!" the tom cried, shaking, his heart lurched as he stepped, wobbly, to the body of the tom. Robinmask was horrified their deputy was dead, their innocent medicine cat was exiled, and the killer was still amongst them.

graystar was starting to feel more like the belonged in the leader's den, but she still resented having lost acornstar. still, she was fairly confident that appletwig was the murderer. rising early like her normal self, she went to find foxtail to help him organize patrols - she still saw it as her duty. then she found him - lying dead on the ground, with robinmask having just found him. she let her head drop and gave herself a moment to mourn, then she guarded her heart and stood atop the highrock. "foxtail is dead!" she called mournfully. "we must exile yet again."
