Raavi Kinair/ Khajiit/ Nightingale/ Mood: Regaining Composure/ Female/ 22/ Tags; Conavi]

The Nightingale shot Convavin a playful expression to his words, but soon turned her attention to the blonde imperial in front of them. "So, Vex," Raavi began, "I've recruited this man into the Thieves Guild, his name's Conavin. But, in order for him to be a official member, Mercer has assigned us the Goldenglow Estate mission. I'm sure you know about it. Could you give us some tips on how me and him should go about it?" she questioned politely in her exuberant, outgoing voice. Vex sighed outwardly in an agitated way, remember her bitter attempt and fail at it. She hated that the Khajiit had brought up such painful memories back to her surface, and her expression bore accuracy to that thought. However, she still had to help them, just so the two (especially Raavi) would get out of her face. "Yes. You'll need to either be an expert at lockpicking, or enter the building and exit through the sewers. There are a few traps, and a lot of mercenary's, so just be careful and lay low. You'll also need to pickpocket any of the mercenary's for the chest key. That's all I know." she explained in a huffy, annoyed tone. "Is that it? Will you stop pestering me now, or do you want another heist mission?" Vex asked quickly, ready to be done with the conversation.

Akadar Strong-Blade - Male - 26 - Nord - Whiterun Watchtower - Tagged: Celenr and Anya to the rescue!
Keeping the dragon distracted was a much more daunting task than one would imagine. Eventually the beast entirely lost interest in the tower and flew off, the four remaining guards letting out the breaths they held. When they tried to leave, however, the dragon returned, swooping in and snatching a Nord by the name of Hroki off the ground. The second to try and flee in the absence of the dragon was Tor, who met the same fate in the belly of the beast. This left Akadar alone with one other guard stranded in the ruined tower, fearing to leave in case the dragon returned. The rookie guard managed to get word to the Jarl and he assembled a team of reinforcements led by Irileth. She and her crew were already at the tower by the time Celenr arrived. "No, get back!" Cried the other remaining guard as Irileth approached the tower. Akadar stood just behind him. "It's still here somewhere! Hroki and Tor just got grabbed when they tried to make a run for it!" The Jarl's housecarl silenced them both before Akadar had any input, asking where it had gone. A sound in the near distance made the question rhetorical. "Kynareth save us, here he comes again!" By this time, the sun had set hours ago and the Nord guard was exhausted with stress, but he armed himself with a bow regardless to join the battle. Irileth rallied the men she brought with her as they took up arms. "Make every arrow count!" The roar of the dragon drowned out anything else the Dark Elf said.

The heat of battle distracted everyone from the Breton's arrival, and it was clear the Whiterun guard could use every sword arm they could get. They'd made no headway against the dragon, and the great beast was simply picking them off, almost leisurely. It wasn't until Akadar heard the ancient tongue of dragons did he and the other men tear their attentions away from the dragon. It looked just as confused as they were, seeing no one there. "I heard a voice, in dragon tongue." He murmured, almost to reassure himself. It was Irileth who snapped the guard back to attention and back on task. "Fools! Attack, while it's distracted!" A flurry of arrows prickled the dragon's hide in response, catching it off guard and weakening it to where it became forced to land. This gave the Nords an advantage over the beast, since now their swords could be of use. The dragon fought brutally, the air rancid of seared flesh and blood as it snarled waves of fiery breath, its teeth and claws making short work of any caught too close.

Hanzar flinched as there was a knock at the door and he could hear Mika's non-approving hiss. A smile danced across his face as he listened to her. He dropped her leg and strides over to his clothes and slipped on a shirt and his boots. Hanzar chuckled as he turned his head toward the khajiit. "Yes, we shall continue this later on. It is still my turn." He grinned before he strides back over to her. The male placed a gentle kiss on her cheek before opening the door and walking down the stairs. Altavia was sitting on the chair and minding her own. Where was the male, the Breton? Nord? He rubbed his head trying to remember what he was. A small chuckle escaped him as he couldn't remember the male's race even though he saved him. "Hey Altavia, how'd everything go?" Hanzar asked curiously.

The khajiits face rested for a few moments before it changed into something more bitter once when the bird mentioned Hermaeus Mora. "I mean no disrespect, but I'm in no way, trying to endulge my wellbeing into the hands of Hermaeus. I don't work with any deadric prince's and I plan to keep out of their petty problems. I'm in no desperate need of knowledge or anything else that you offered. I have plenty of gold to live comfortably and I was told, that it is dangerous to know too much. I will be passing up on your offer. Please find someone else that is more equipped for this job. I shall be leaving and I expect you to respect my decision." Dar'Zarina stated firmly before she shifted in her horses seat; getting ready to ride off away from this weird and unwelcoming bird.

Conavin listened closed to Vex, nodding slightly when she mentioned the sewers. He didn't like the idea of trying to lockpick with mercenaries wandering about so he was glad there was another option."That's it. Thank you for the information. "He stepped forward, grabbed Raavi and then dragged her away before Vex decided to cut her throat. She seemed to be very bitter about failing the GoldenGlow mission and Raavi defiantly wasn't helping her. He let out go of Kinair and looked at her, a hopeful look on his face. "You know where the sewers are, right?"

Raavi Kinair/ Khajiit/ Nightingale/ Mood: Informative/ Female/ 22/ Tags; Conavin

Conavin swept Raavi away from Vex before she could get another word in, and the Imperial seemed extremely grateful. The blonde then began talking to others around the bar, being more comfortable with them then the spastic Nightingale. "Hmm.." the female put a hand to her chin thoughtfully, recalling passing the estate a few times. In all honestly, she would sometimes peak behind the fence and look at the front door to examine the shifts that the mercenaries took. Kinair was hoping that, one day, Mercer Frey would dramatically announce that she would be taking care of the mission. The dream was that, when Raavi came back from one of her missions, Brynjolf and Mercer Frey would do a dramatic twirl in her direction in unison; one of their hands over their head.
"Oh, it's simply terrible! You can't do this to the lass, Mercer!" Brynjolf would explain, his red hair flowing through some sort of wind draft. "I must!" the second in command would exclaim dramatically, a single tear falling down his face. "Raavi will be the one to fulfill the Guild to it's glory, so we must give her this impossible mission!" this would be followed by a loud sob from Brynjolf. But, bravely, the Khajiit would accept the mission and do it flawlessly, leaving the GoldenGlow estate in shock. This shock would be so great that, somehow, the entire land would implode from Raavi's amazingness as she rode away gallantly on a horse. After that, Maven Black-Briar herself would give the Nightingale her thanks, rewarding her with a sword worthy of the dragonborn. The sword was black as night, and would shoot bee's and mead out of it at random to incapacitate her attackers. After that, Raavi was known as the greatest thief in the history of the thieves guild, and went on a lot more adventures and became super rich.
Raavi had experienced that dream more than once, each time being more detailed and dramatic than the last. Suddenly perking her head up, she realized that she hadn't answered Conavin's questions. "Yes, I do, Conavin!" she grinned, getting out of her trance. "It's near a bush in the main entrance, but you have to pass a black-smithing place and a lot of guards. Not to mention, it's pretty hard to see, so you have to be quick." Raavi explained.

Conavin nodded, confident in his ability to sneak past the guards quickly. He had a lot of practice when he was younger, hiding from bullies, bandits or goats. Just about anything larger than a puppy he would run and hide from. Even if was embarrassing to think about the many times he had ran away from chickens, it had given him experience with stealth. Plus a phobia of chickens. They were really territorial. "When do you want to head out?" he asked, pushing away his thoughts. "And don't think I've forgotten about your wine and pie. I'll get it for you after the mission." He was actually trying to buy time, positive that he wouldn't be able to afford two bottles of wine, not even mentioning the pie.

A hooded figure had his bow notched and ready to let an arrow fly. He held his breath as he pulled back on his bow, aiming for his prey. He released his breath as he let his arrow fly with a soft twang... thud. The figure leaped over a fallen tree to see a buck laying dead with an arrow to its eye. He had made a clean kill, which brightened his spirits. It would fetch a good price back in Whiterun.

Linneic was a tall and muscular man with tanned skin. He had unusual grey hair and stubble, as well as grey eyes. Many thought him strange for being so young with grey hair, but little did they know he was born with it. He was wearing Thieve's Guild armor, his hood obscuring most of his chiseled features. His ebony bow was across his back and his matching sword was sheathed at his waist.

Nic picked up the buck and placed it on the back of his steed, Ryn. Ryn was a large, grey dappled mare, whom Nic cherished. He mounted Ryn and urged her towards Whiterun.

A Skyrim RP \\ Post 67 \\ Shade ~ Whiterun

Postby Durnehviir » Wed Feb 08, 2017 11:56 am

    Shade \\ F \\ 23 \\ Dark elf \\ Tags: Linneic
The dark elf had made her way to Whiterun after saying her final goodbyes to M'Jhera. He had to deal with his brother without the constant bothersome shadow that lurked behind him. Shade sighed. She had begun to like the male and really enjoyed his company. She knew a dark elf and khajiit would never be accepted in this era but that wouldn't have stopped her. Maybe fate had it that he wasn't the one for her, maybe someone else will cross her path. "Ha! A Nord or Breton! Yah right.." The dark elf spoke to herself and laughed at her own little joke.
Shade rode on her stallion Excalibur. He was an interesting beast in his own way but was incredibly loyal. His small horns on the top of his head tended to reflect the sunlight. Whenever you looked into his deep, blood red eyes, it would seem as if he staring right into your soul. Shade had a shiver sent up her spine just thinking about it. The dark elf kicked her horse into a quick gallop and another figure wasn't far from ahead of her. The skilled Nightingale pulled her bow off her back and readied an arrow; steadying herself on Excalibur and steered him with her legs. She rode up to the male; hoping he wasn't hostile.
Once when Shade realized it was just a hunter she dropped her arrow and returned it back to its quiver and placed her bow back onto her back. "Nice kill you got there." The dark elf said in a calm and warm tone, trying to make a simple conversation. Excalibur was about a whole foot taller than the steed that was next to her but the mans height was notcible. A small smile appeared on her face as she thought back to her joke. A Nord! By the gods, are you playing with me now? She couldn't see his facial features and the saddened her a bit but she slid the thoughts aside. They had just met literally just a second ago. Baby steps Shade. You might not even like him. Don't get attached to him like you did with M'Jhera. A small sigh escaped her mouth as she thought about the khajiit.

Linneic didn't bother drawing his bow as the dark elf approached him. He instinctively knew she wouldn't shoot him because she could assume he was a hunter. He watched as she stopped her hellish horse next to his and sheathe her bow.

It's been quite sometime since I've seen an Elf around these parts. Linneic usually didn't talk to lone travelers but she spoke to him first and he was now obligated to reply. I wonder where she's headed. There really aren't any Elves in Whiterun, so maybe she's headed farther west. Markarth, maybe?

"Thank you," he replied, his voice rough and deep. His voice was pleasant and alluring, though he didn't talk much. "Something troubling you?" He questioned. Nic was extremely observant and he could tell something was wrong with the Dark Elf.
