She dug a stick out from a couple tail lengths away, placing it in front of the alligator, then another by its back leg, she stood in front of the wire as the alligator snapped and inched forward, its head going perfectly through the loop it tightened and then dropped, limp as a blade of grass.

The blackish brown tabby tom almost dropped his jaw in surprise, and padded towards it, a little cautious. "We'll have to remember these the next time an alligator shows up."

The otter swerved in the opposite direction, once it noticed Featherpatch going after it, where Hawktalon was waiting. The brown and white tabby tom stepped carefully towards it as it ran towards him, and once it had almost slithered away, he pounced.

Aridstar turned from Ashfeather and bounded over to highrock. Once at the top of the rock, she called, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather below highrock for a meeting!" Her voice pounded through the camp. She stood up straight and waited for cats to gather below.

Jaggedbreeze stood up and padded toward the hunting patrol that was gathering. She didn't have an apprentice so she didn't have to worry about that. I doubt I will ever have one anyways, that unless, I start talking again... She pondered over her thoughts for a heartbeat, giving some thought about it. But quickly told herself, No. Once she reached the rest of the patrol, Jaggedbreeze opened her mouth to already try and pick up the drifting scent of prey. It was hard since Reedclan was on a marsh, it not like you can smell fish from many tail lengths away. All she could pick up was muskrat and alligator, hopefully she would have more luck out on the hunting space. Alligators could always be smelled though, no matter where you are since they are everywhere in the marsh. She glanced over at her arranged mate, Stormfeather. So he is joining the patrol too. Jaggedbreeze turned her head a little to look at her sister, and her leader, who had called a meeting.

Owlpaw whipped around and stared at Aridstar. "Sorry Deerleap, I don't think training will ever happen! I'm twelve moons now, and Aridstar may be announcing the end of apprenticeships..." he whispered to Deerleap. He sat down, but his eyes drifted to Littlepaw and Shadepaw. Its been a while since they've talked, what a surprise.

Ashfeather smiled. "Thats good." She answered, listening to her leader finish talking. "Okay.... Sure..." She stammered, nervousness shooting through her. She followed her leader and sat under the rock, casting glances around. Who would be her mate? Steading herself, she cast her mind away from her fear. "No. I'm a loyal warrior. This won't affect me." She murmured to herself.

The brown and white tabby tom walked into camp, carrying half of the otter and Featherpatch carrying the other half.

Rabbitstride sat grooming her fur in a patch next to the warriors den, she was bored and that was the
