making her way to the moonpool, chestnutstar thought about what she should request from the ancestors. another warrior would not be bad at all. with all these new apprentices they keep finding, the clan would need some more warriors for when she asked bristleclaw to be her mate. dipping her nose in the water, she thanked the ancestors and gave them a report about the clan before asking for a warrior.

later that day, she returned to the camp and noticed bristleclaw and hawkeye returning from their hunt. she padded over to bristleclaw and asked him to join her on a walk. the tom seemed curious and confused at first, but he followed along. "you must know why i'm asking you to join me." she spoke, swaying her tail slightly as she gazed over at bristleclaw. "actually, i have no idea. so tell me, chestnutstar." he responded, giving the she-cat a curious look. shaking her head at his obliviousness, she released a sigh. "i want you to be my mate. i believe that we will have strong and healthy kits." she spoke rather quickly before pausing to wait for bristleclaw's response. the chuckle from the tom surprised her. "of course i'll be your mate. no one else is worthy of you." he mused, bumping his head against her shoulder as they walked together.

Just after Skyfrost's kits are born... Skyfrost looks lovingly at the two wriggling blobs at her belly. The she-kit brushed against her and she exclaimed at how soft that newborn kit could be. "Softkit," she decided. As if agreeing, the ginger tom suddenly lets out a big wail that sounded like a chirp. "And Chirpkit. Softkit and Chirpkit. Lovely kits!" She pulled them closer into a cuddle and looks and Ambergaze, who's not looking well. "Oh dear, you're due!" Skyfrost meowed. "You don't say?" Amvergaze panted sarcastically.

Their Clan's Story:
The clan is brave and loyal. All (or at least most) of the clanmates reflect this.They are focused on both justice and peace and the warrior code is the most important thing to them.They live in a forest near some mountains. Therefore they are use to hunting in both. A long time ago their were more cats but sadly they are long gone due to a fire that happened. Than like a phoenix they rose from the ashes. One cat stepped forward and began to remake the clan once lost.
This cat was Ashstar.

SilverStar watched on with amusement as ShadowFlight began to instruct their new apprentice, SweetPaw, in the intricacies of hunting. He was currently explaining important things to keep track of while on the trail of any kind of animal.

“Now SweetPaw. It doesn’t matter what, you are tracking, you must always stay alert to your surroundings. Even if you are tracking something as harmless as a mouse, you must stay alert. There are other creatures in the plains of SwiftClan, and not all fear cats. Also, when you are tracking, stalking, hunting, whatever, be mindful of your tail. This is one of the hardest things to master, so we are going to be mindful of it right away. So, SweetPaw, from what I just said in that inordinately long lecture, what do you think are the fundamentally of hunting?”

SweetPaw took a deep breath, “Don’t wait for the perfect prey, take what you can get. Don’t torture your prey. Stay focused. Pay attention to your surroundings. Don’t forget your tail.” she looked up hopefully into they eyes of her mentor, “How’d I do?”

He beamed at her, “Let’s see, shall we? SilverStar, care to join us on a hunting expedition?” SweetPaw’s eyes widened, and she beamed up at ShadowFlight.

“I would be honored.” SilverStar replied, standing. The tree of them slipped off into the tall grass, ears pricked for their prey.

After that, Jinxstar called the clan together.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey please join in the clearing for a clan meeting!" He called from his perch outside his den.

The entire clan gathered, with the exception of Blackberry and Blackmouth, who was making sure she was ok after her kitting.

"We have a lot of things to do today. It is time for another Gathering, and I have deicded that Barkpaw, Tanagerpaw, Flintshade, Velvetrabbit, Brindlethorn, and Myself will be attending. But, before that happens, we have several things that need to be done first. Barkpaw and Tanagerpaw have shown that they are both ready and able to join the clan as full warriors. They will be attending the gathering tonight with their full warrior names. As well, you may have all figured out that Willowbolt and I are not mates, and because of that she will be having kits of her own. I have decided that, until our kits are old enough for her to resume her deputy duties, Brindlethorn will be acting in her place. As well, I need to make my Moonpool visit today, which I will be making as soon as I am done here. I want Willowbolt to join Blackberry in her herb hunting and a boarder patrol. I want the rest of you to go out hunting." and with that Jinxstar jumped down of his perch and left camp.

Jinxstar trotted quickly towards teh Moonpool, wanting to make it there and back before the gathering tonight. He arrived quickly and took the first spot he could find.

"Starclan, please forgive me on my quickness of this visit, but I need to return to my clan and prepare for the gathering tonight. I only ask that you send me a warrior, we have many kits that are going to need to have mentors, and we are not a big enough clan for them. Please, send me intelligent and capable cats that can help train the next generation of my clan." Jinxstar bowed politely before waking and leaving.

He planned on hunting on the way back so that they would have more then enough prey for their quickly growing clan.

Back at camp, the large hunting group headed out to hunt quickly before going to the gathering tonight. Blackberry and Willowbolt followed then out more slowly, planning on taking the patrol carefully today since neither of them were going ot the gathering tonight, and understandably so.

Blackmouth was sleeping in her den, Her kits suckling quietly next to her. Skydapple herded her kits out into the clearing for them to play, warning them to keep it quiet so that they do not disturb Blackmouth and her newborn kits.

"So, what should we play today?" Stormkit asked his siblings as he trotted in an energetic circle.

Frecklekit shrugged, not saying anything as usual. It seemed like nothing anyone could do would get her to say anything. She would make other noises, though, like squeals and purring, but she just never talked. Skydapple kept a close eye on this, but did not say much since she figured that it was just time before she felt comfortable with her own voice.

"Seriously, Frecklekit, talking is not going to kill you! Ashkit, since you are not mute or too stupid to talk, what should we do?" Stormkit growled at his brother when his sister wouldn't answer him.

Frecklekit gasped indignantly, and opened her mouth like she was going to respond, but nothing came out. Her fur fluffed up and she hung her head, looking at her paws in anger at her inability to respond to her mean brother.

"Stormkit, be nice to your sister!" Skydapple scolded him.

Stormkit just rolled his eyes at her, it wasn't his fault that his sister was stupid.

"You seem to always love fighting, maybe we should do that?" Ashkit asked as he pounced on a leaf that was blowing past him.

Ashkit was already warned that he needed to be careful what he did because his frail bones would break easily otherwise.

"Great idea!" Stormkit said as he charged at his sister.

Frecklekit looked up just a moment too late, and was bowled over by her larger brother. She squeaked in surprise, but fought back. The two siblings tussled in the middle of the clearing as Ashkit chased the leaf that was blowing around on the slight breeze. Skydapple was happy to see that her kits were having fun, but the thought of Frecklekit possibly being mute scared her.

While on patrol, Brindlethorn was talking to Flintshade. It was well known that Flintshade had been watching Blackmouth closely, but he had not approached her yet.

"I am not sure what to do. I want to talk to her, but at the same time something about her scares me." Flintshade said as he watched the new warriors in front of him.

"Well, why not just approach her then? I mean, you should have seen me around Skydapple before we became mates. I was a wreck!" Brindlethorn admitted.

"He isn't lying with that one!" Barkclaw called from ahead of the others.

"Yeah, totally useless!" Tanagerpelt agreed with a laugh as she ran to catch up with Barkclaw.

Flintshade scented something and stalked off, with Brindlethorn heading in the opposite direction. Tanagerpelt and Barkclaw were finally left alone.

"So, when do you think we should tell them?" Tanagerpelt asked as she rubbed against Barkclaw's side.

"Well, maybe wait a little longer. I mean, I do not want kits yet, with Willowbolt now expecting, and Blackmouth just kitting. Skydapple's kits aren't even old enough to be apprenticed yet." Barkclaw told her as he stalked off after something as well.

Tanagerpelt was left alone as she searched for her own prey to catch.

These words from Fogstar rang in Rainheart's ears. She turned to Addertail, whom was sitting beside her "What's that all about?" the gray and white she-cat asked, confused. Rainheart stopped when she got closer to the high rock that Fogstar was sitting on top of "Why did you just yell that to the whole clan?" Rainheart asked, slightly annoyed, but it wasn't Fogstar who replied "Those are the words used by clan leaders to call the clan together" Ravenberry mewed "So how would you know that if you used to be a loner?" Rainheart asked, not taking her gaze off of Fogstar "Ravenberry told me" the tom pointed his tail at the she-cat. I quess that makes sence, Ravenberry used to be from a clan before, she'd know. Rainheart thought, but didn't say anything anymore.

Fogstar looked at his clan, Wrenstripe was lying down beside Cootwing. Rainheart and Addertail sat close to each other, not far from them sat Oakpaw and Sandpaw. Ravenberry sat by herself. "Anyways," Fogstar began "I'm not sure if you've heard, but there's a gathering soon" Fogstar mewed "A gathering?" Sandpaw repeated, confused. "Yes, clans nearby sometimes go to gatherings to... talk about they're clan and such. It's a night of truce and nobody can attack anybody. If you want to know more about it, ask Ravenberry. She was a clan cat before, therefore she knows more about this then I do." Fogstar explained "But anyways," the tom began "How about we all go to this gathering?" The tom offered "I'm afraid we can't all go..." Ravenberry mewed quietly "Why not...?" Fogstar asked in a disapointed tone. "Wrenstripe's giving birth today, so she and I have to stay behind." Ravenberry anwsered, "If my mate's giving birth, I'd rather stay with her. I'm sorry, Fogstar." Cootwing mewed apologeticly. "If you don't want to go, I can't force you." Fogstar mewed, he jumped down from the high rock that he was standing on and made his way torwards the camp entrance "Come on, Rainheart, Addertail, Oakpaw and Sandpaw. We're going."

Shinestar padded back into the clearing, with her clanmates close behind. Leafrush was smiling slightly, and Cloudswift was almost bouncing with every step he took. Shinestar chuckled at her Clan's light spirit, and jumped onto the boulder in the center of the camp."Even though we have just come back from the Gathering, we cannot let our guard down. Some of the other Clans will do anything to take our territory, and we must persevere throughout the hard times. Leafrush, our herb stocks are low, so I want you to gather some herbs." Leafrush nodded, and padded out of the camp."Cloudswift, I want you and I to patrol the borders again, and bring any prey you find back to camp." Cloudswift nodded, and waited for Shinestar as she jumped down from the Boulder, and padded out of the camp.

since chestnutstar was quite pregnant, bristleclaw insisted that he patrolled the area rather than she did on her own. unwilling, the she-cat had accepted her mate's request and joined their newest member, cloudwatcher, on a hunt instead. as he walked, he wondered what his kits would look like. he knew that they would be a group of strong kittens though. blossompaw and frecklepaw were proving to be strong apprentices, and blossompaw would become a warrior in two moons.

with the new kits on the way, palenose searched the territory for more herbs. he did not want anything horrible to happen to their leader during kitting, and it was his responsibility to keep her safe while she delivered the future of obsidianclan.

Morningstar had returned from the moonpool accompanied by a pretty tortoiseshell queen who'd said she wanted to join Caveclan. Shimmerpelt had taken one look and was sympathetic. She knew how the young queen felt, having gone through similar circumstances when she'd joined the clan. Shimmerpelt had no idea what had happened to this queen's mate but now wasn't the time to ask. The queen, who'd introduced herself as Mottledshade, was hungry and tired. Shimmerpelt and Ebonywing made her a nest in the nursery and Mottledshade sunk into it with a grateful sigh. The queen was asleep before Ebonywing's kits even noticed the newcomer. "Who's that?" Willowkit stared at the queen with wide, curious eyes as Tigerkit tried to approach the sleeping queen to sniff her. Ebonywing gently drew her kits back into their nest, telling them, "Mottledshade is tired from her journey to Caveclan. She needs rest and so do you two. It's past your naptime." She murmured quietly to her kits. "But I'm not tired!" Willowkit objected, a yawn parting her jaws a few moments later. Ebonywing looked fondly at her kits as they fell asleep beside her. Shimmerpelt glanced anxiously at the young queen before whispering a quiet goodbye to Ebonywing as she left the den.
Woolyfur glanced at the den as Shimmerpelt came out. "How is she?" He asked. "Sleeping," Shimmerpelt replied. "After some rest, she'll be okay." Woolyfur nodded and said, "Good. Then you can join Rowanfur's patrol." Shimmerpelt nodded in agreement.

Robinstar had been putting a great deal of emphasis on hunting recently, sending out large patrols almost daily, and today was no different. Featherfur had been asked to lead a patrol by the southern border, and was leading them in silence. Kestrelflight, his younger sister who had no clue to their family relations, was chatting to both her and Reedwhisker in an attempt to liven up the patrol; Reedwhisker was responding, Featherfur was not. Lilycloud and Frogstep were in the back of the group, talking quietly and snorting with laughter every few minutes. No one knew what the siblings were talking about, but honestly it was probably just bad puns. Branchbelly seemed to be the odd one out, being left out of most of the conversations apart from a few brief attempts to engage him. The brown tom looked happy enough to just be tagging along, listening to the steady talk of clanmates. "I think we should split into groups of two and hunt from there." Featherfur announced, calling their attentions back to him. Four of them paired off predictably; Frogstep and Lilycloud, Kestrelflight and Reedwhisker. Noticing that he was the only one standing without a partner, Branchbelly gave Featherfur a shy grin and shuffled to his side. "Right. Meet me back here when you've caught something."

With so many cats out on patrol, Foxbelly felt the need to do something productive with her time as well. The first cat her bright gaze landed on was Pikefang; a bitter silver tabby with an attitude problem and few friends. Perfect! Bounding across camp to the younger tom, she didn't care enough to quip about the cold stare he fixed on her. "Get off your lazy tail, kitten!" She crowed, skidding to a stop just beside him and kicking just enough just his way to make him scowl. "We're going on patrol." Foxbelly announced, only driving a darker frown onto the tom's face. He looked around fruitlessly for Hollytuft, as if she might save his tail from this loud she-cat. When he realized the black deputy was nowhere in sight he rose to his paws slowly, grumbling all the while. "Atta boy, that's the spirit!" Foxbelly cooed, flicking her tail across his muzzle and breaking off at a brisk jog towards the camp entrance."Where are we going, exactly?" Pikefang asked with a defeated sigh, letting his paws drag across the dirt as he followed. "Dunno, I'm not familiar with the borders yet - guess we'll be checking 'em all out!"

Rainwhisker and Brackenfrost were lounging outside the warriors den, lazily grooming each other in a patch of sunlight. They had an air of a disgustingly-sweet old couple and they weren't even old. Absurd. There was a pause between the strokes of Rainwhisker's tongue, the break of rhythm catching her mates attention. She looked pensive, only serving to shake Brackenfrost out of his pleasant lull. The pair sat in silence a moment longer before Rainwhisker spoke up. "I've been thinking about this for a while now-" Brackenfrost interrupted with a quiet snort. "You sound like me when I asked you to be my mate." He teased, laughing as Rainwhisker swatted at him. "Stuff it, furball. As I was saying, I've been thinking for a while. About- about how I want to have another litter." She'd hardly gotten the words out before her mate sputtered in shock. "Wh- really?" He gaped, incredulous tare meeting the amused glimmer in hers. "I'd like to. Input?" The question was apparently very silly, because Brackenfrost broke into a fit of quiet laughter. "Of course!"
