Shadowkit turned on Stormkit and crouched, "I'll show Skyspirit that I'm ready to be an apprentice. I'll get a mentor and you'll still be in the nursery." He had seen some of the apprentices practicing their battle moves but no one had ever bothered to truly show him. He rushed forward at Stormkit and tried to dodge to one side but tripped over his paws. He sat up and hissed in frustration, how was he suppose to really learn these moves if no one taught him? Why did all the warriors have to die? His father would have shown him how to correctly do this.
Stormkit readied himself for Shadowkit's attack but fell down laughing as Shadowkit tripped. "You'll never be a warrior if you can't stay on your paws," Stormkit taunted his brother. Shadowkit was so determined to be warrior but Stormkit knew he was going to be the best warrior FlameClan had ever seen. He stalked around behind his brother and leaped on shoulders, forcing him down to the ground.
Lilykit rolled off Moonkit and looked up at her brothers. They were both always so serious, they should just let things come as they did. Skyspirit would apprentice them when their was a warrior to be their mentor and not before, until they could continue to play and practice what they thought were battle moves and hunting techniques. She rolled over and batted at Moonkit with her paws with a smirk on her face.
