Fadedstar glanced towards Sagestar, not betraying any emotion, which was quite unlike the tom. He didn't want to mess up his first gathering. "Yes, Fadedstar now. Thank you." He repositioned the placement of his paws, turning himself to face Tumbleclan's leader. "Raven.. could not make it tonight, and I now stand in his place. I do hope that Tumbleclan is in good condition?" He conveniently left off the suffix of Ravencoat's name, not wanting just yet to reveal that the dark tom had, in fact, been demoted due to an unpopular battle opinion and the disabling of the clan's most promising apprentice.. It felt awkward to speak that way, however, the pale tom wanted to be as polite as possible. He didn't want to start another battle between the two enemy clans. {Sagestar, Leader/Deputy Group}

"Ravenstar- er, Ravencoat had ordered an attack on them after the gathering. Fadedstar's grandson was leading the attack and his leg was broken. As far as I know, Tumbleclan suffered no injuries." Dawnglow shuffled her paws worreidly. "I don't like it. If a clan can take two battles without any damage, what's to stop them from throwing the forest into chaos?" {Ramhorn and Brindlepaw}

He chuckled while hearing of his kits activities. "Otterstream? What happened?" He felt a jolt in his belly as Stagstep mentioned his suspicions about his daughter, but didn't respond. If she found out, she found out. Rabbitwish had to trust that she could keep a secret. {Stagstep}

"Oh, um. No. Just waving hello. This is my first gathering, and my mentors are talking about sad things, so I wanted to see if I could make any friends. And you smell like one of the allies that I can scent over the border sometimes? I'm Smoothpaw, by the way." The brown apprentice smiled toothily. Usually, the only cat she talked to was Ravenpaw, so it was nice to talk to someone who wasn't constantly whimpering about his life for once. {Webwing}

"Haha, same to you, Poppypounce of Echoclan." Minnowsplash grinned. Finally! A cat who is lighthearted enough to make jokes and still understand what's going on! Why does my clan have to be so mopey-mopey? Hesitating a moment, the tom attempted to continue the conversation. "So how has Echoclan been, lately?" {Poppypounce}

Cottonpaw frowned as Duskpaw stomped away without a word. "Yeah.. he is always like that. But he's my friend, so I can't complain. The only reason I'm not failing in battle training is because of Duskpaw. He's scary, and kind of a jerk, but he won't bite. I don't think, at least.." He flicked an ear when they mentioned Witherclan only having one less apprentice. [b}"Well... not really one less. Ravenpaw got to go in a battle but he got hurt and now he's stuck in the medicine den. SO.."[/b] {Thymepaw, Gingerpaw, Emberpaw, Sunpaw}

Duskpaw got up, stalking away from his annoying denmate and the group of Caveclan apprentices. His gaze spotted another group, but they looked much more subdued than the one he was just in. The dark tom slunk over, sitting nearby and watching them with a slitted gaze. {Malloweyes' group}

Hawthorneclaw looked at his mate, concern on his face. When he had asked her to he his, she had happily accepted. He loved her, and she loved him. The dark tom lapped Goldenpelt's ear. But... her illness was starting to worry him. She was gaining weight and it wasn't uncommon for her to be dizzy or get sick. It was a miracle in itself that Fadedstar had even allowed her to come. Of course, he knew the pale tom only agreed because he knew that Haw would never leave her side. Oh, Gold... what's wrong with you..? Goldenpelt leaned into his side, smiling at the cats she knew from seeing on patrol or previous gatherings. But she was much more tired than her usual self. He would say that she was expecting, but.. Dawnglow had told her when she was young that she was infertile and could never have kits. So.. what could it be? {Open}

Lichenstar listened, and pricked his ears in interest when he heard they'd caught a fish. "We are a small group, but we are well. Do you live near a river?" He went through a mental map of the land around Strikeclan, wondering if their lands were close together.

Cottonpaw eagerly searched for another apprentice to talk to. The adult cats had to be diplomatic and all- they could worry about that. But her first gathering? She was determined to find a cat and learn how other clans worked! Despite Lichenstar's warnings to stay close to Stoatsock and him, Cottonpaw joined the energy-filled crowd and listened for a potential cat.

She looked over at Sagestar when he came up to her to talk. The ginger she-cat relaxed as she realized that the tom wasn't being hostile towards her. "It's fine. I apologize as well, Sagestar. We should've tried to talk things out without resorting to fighting. Don't take full responsibility, it was both of our faults." Squirrelstar bowed her head to him. "And thank you, I know Otterstream would be pleased to hear you say those words."

"A rogue group was trying to settle in our territory so Squirrelstar took a patrol out to fight them. One of the rogues slammed down on Otterstream's spine and it broke." Stagstep mewed sadly. "We also lost Dapplewing that same day during a territory dispute." He sighed, shaking his head. He looked back over towards Witheredpaw and Pigeonpaw, stiffening when he noticed the tension growing between Witheredpaw and a Reedclan apprentice.

Ramhorn shook his head. "I wouldn't worry too much about it, Dawnglow. If we had to worry about it, Starclan would tell us." The white tom mewed. "Tumbleclan just got some lucky shots in, we'll get them next time."

Mossycreek mewed a goodbye, watching Sheepclaw as she left.

Rosie touched her nose to Rosepaw's ear. "As long as you try your hardest you'll be a great warrior, young one." She mewed. "Now, where is your brother?"

Poppypounce settled back on her haunches, curling her tail over her paws. "I've only been with the Clan for two moons, so I don't know much of what has happened. From what I've figured out, Echoclan is still recovering from two fights recently. Nobody has really talked to me about it. How's Witherclan?"

Witheredpaw looked over her shoulder at Nutpaw, a devious smirk on her face before turning away with a hmph, her bushy tail kinking over her back. Pigeonpaw looked at Nutpaw, Bleakpaw and Blossompaw. "I'm sorry, she isn't in a good mood today." The black and white tom mewed before settling down next to his littermate. Witheredpaw flicked Pigeonpaw's ear with her tail, an annoyed look on her face.

stonestar let out a small chuckle. he looked through the crowd before finding the cats he was looking for. "you see that fiery red tom with the silver tabby? those are my kits, the first litter of brookclan." the stone grey tom meowed, gazing fondly at his full-grown children.

hawkfeather jumped when a nearby cat called a greeting. the brown tom quickly regained his posture. "hello. i'm uh...hawkfeather of brookclan."

cherryseed and riversong stuck together, politely greeting everyone. the she-cats arrived at the medicine group, and cherryseed mewed a simply greeting. "good evening to you all. i am cherryseed, medicine cat of brookclan, and this is my apprentice riversong."

sandheart looked around for someone to talk to, quietly walking through the crowd of cats.

firestorm sat down in a corner with silvermist, his gaze meandering though the clearing. "there's so many cats..." the warrior thought.

as much as dustleap disliked it, the tom knew it was a good idea to stick around with cats he knew. even if that meant having owlflight come along. gingersplash was also there, an impressed look on her face. "i didn't know there was that many clans..." the she-cat meowed.

There was no way she was backing down now. Nutpaw abandoned her kind facade as she padded past Pigeonpaw, shoving her nose into Witheredpaw's face, her eyes flashing fury. "I didn't hear an apology," she hissed, her tail lashing.

Deerstar turned, towards the leader's, after glancing back at the mountains. "See the snow on top of the mountains? She asked. "That's our territory," she meowed, trying to relax. "Hello Fadedstar," she meowed in greeting to the WitherClan leader.

chestnutstar followed stonestar's gaze to the fiery red tom that he was pointing out. "your clan has come very far. i hope to see my clan grow as well." she spoke, unsure if she should inform the tom that she may be expecting kits.

bristleclaw sat at a distance, his eyes glued to his leader and mate, chestnutstar. he tried to read her lips as she spoke to the other leaders, but he could not make out the words. he did not have much of a motive to talk to others.

palenose gave a small hum to himself when the she-cat gave him yet another glance. did she want to speak to him? maybe after the announcements he would be able to meet her. for now, she had her duty as a leader to speak to the other clans. however, he could not help but watch her. perhaps he should be focusing on his leader, but this she-cat from petalclan interested him.

blossompaw silently watched both nutpaw and witheredpaw interact with each other. casting a glance around, she wondered if anyone else was seeing this besides the few apprentices already here. she did not want to be involved, but she would like to watch.

frecklepaw gave a chuckle at her remark. "i know that for certain. i hope chestnutstar allies obsidianclan with a big clan."

crowfall and hawkeye sat together and spoke of the gathering. "there are so many clans here.. it's amazing." she murmured, her gaze sweeping the forest as she took in all the other clans. "we have a lot of competition, hmm?" he mused, a chuckle escaping him.
