"Don't feel bad, I've only met one cat who can." He paused, his eyes drawn to his leader again. "Yes it is." he said, his voice softening slightly, "SilverStar of SwiftClan." And then the moment passed, and he nodded to a small white apprentice with grey ears, "And that is my apprentice, SweetPaw."

SweetPaw grinned, "SilverStar says that our clan only started a few moons ago, so it is to be expected. And we're pretty scary too! You'd better watch out!" she said in a testing tone, batting at the younger apprentice's ears playfully.

Briarstar noticed a new arrival to the leader's rock, and he padded over to introduce himself. "Hello there. My name is Briarstar, and I'm the leader of Thicketclan. Who are you?" He put on a small but friendly smile, quickly licking his paw and drawing it over his ear.

Deerstar blinked at Silverstar. "I'm Deerstar, leader of SnowClan," she replied, glancing around. Tail flicking, she started feeling nervous, ears back for a bit.

She said, slightly embarrassed. "I'll try talking with a few after the announcements have been made, though. Maybe earlier, even."

Shrugging, she turned to the deputy, "Well, since I can't help you, I best be off. Nice meeting you," she said, smiling a farewell, before slipping off into a nearby group of cats.

The grey tabby approached another solitary cat. "Hello there," he greeted friendly, sitting down with a swish of his tail, "I'm Pinefur, Medicine Cat of Asterclan. Who might you be?"

Ocrafur felt the nudge. "Oh, I'm fine," the tom replied. "I'm Ocrafur from Snowclan," he murmured.

Lichenstar turned to see the brown-furred tom. He seemed friendly enough. "Hello Briarstar. I'm Lichenstar, leader of Strikeclan," Lichenstar responded, smiling. "How are you? Has prey been running well?" He asked in an amiable tone, beforing realizing the last question could be percieved as an insult.

Cottonpaw eagerly searched for another apprentice to talk to. The adult cats had to be diplomatic and all- they could worry about that. But her first gathering? She was determined to find a cat and learn how other clans worked! Despite Lichenstar's warnings to stay close to Stoatsock and him, Cottonpaw joined the energy-filled crowd and listened for a potential cat.

The silver molly nodded and smiled. "I will be sure to do that." Jaystar nodded, understanding hot-headed young warriors very well. When her friend proceeded to talk, Jaystar left her to her conversation and turned to greet the other leaders with her normally kind smile. Though she stuck close to Squirrelstar just in case.

Thrushclaw normally didn't socialize during these events, always watching and keeping out to any potential dangers. Though it's not like her was against it. He was just a little unsure of his approach and thus never really started conversations. When another cat approached him though, he was happy to smile and greet her right back. "Well its nice to meet you Sheepclaw. I'm Thrushclaw, deputy of Soulclan." He greeted in return.

The medicine cat flushed a little and waved a paw at him bashfully. "Oh please, you flatter me. Really. It's nothing special." She admitted, shuffling her paws. "Soulclan has just been around for a long time now."

Hearthflame on the other hand was looking for one tom in particular. He wasn't sure if he had actually befriended the other nor did he know if the tom would even want him around like when they first met. But Hearthflame would still like to see him. Well, if he could find Weaselpaw that is. And so he joined the crowd, hoping to find him somewhere.

Nettlefoot chuckled at molly who approached and her statement as well as Malloweyes. "Fate brought us together yes. Though I am not really one to believe in such nonsense. That's Thistle's department. I simply shape the future as we see fit." Thistlethorn rolled her eyes but had no real denial. "I can not jest, I most certainly agree. I believe in fate yes. But I also believe that I myself am fate." She shrugged as if declaring herself as some sort of divine spirit was nothing to blink at. "And you all? Surely something must be happening with you all to bring us together non?"

Cinderblaze blushed and gave Claywhistle a playfully rough nudge. "Shut it you mouse brained jester." She chuckled, wondering if she indeed looked as he proclaimed. "But thank you Claywhistle. You always know how to make a molly smile." She grinned before settling down on her paws. She saw a small look cross their face but held her tongue so they didn't know that she knew about what was going on. "That's good to know. Me myself have been doing fine... -ish."

After being dismissed by their mother, Mistlepaw and Mudpaw began to walk around, excited to met others. Mudpaw sped walked around his sister who walked with a flashy grace in each step. "This place is amazing." Mudpaw smiled eagerly. "It really is a whole new world." Mistlepaw sighed with awestruck breath.

"brookclan is doing very well. prey is plentiful and one of our queens recently gave birth to a healthy kit." stonestar purred, thinking of the tiny harekit. the tom-kit was already starting to climb onto his parents' backs.

hawkfeather let out a silent sigh. overwhelmed by all the cats, he went to a corner, hoping a cat would come to talk to him.

cherryseed and riversong stuck together, politely greeting everyone. the she-cats arrived at the medicine group, and cherryseed mewed a simply greeting. "good evening to you all. i am cherryseed, medicine cat of brookclan, and this is my apprentice riversong."

sandheart looked around for someone to talk to, quietly walking through the crowd of cats.

firestorm sat down in a corner with silvermist, his gaze meandering though the clearing. "there's so many cats..." the warrior thought.

as much as dustleap disliked it, the tom knew it was a good idea to stick around with cats he knew. even if that meant having owlflight come along. gingersplash was also there, an impressed look on her face. "i didn't know there was that many clans..." the she-cat meowed.
