brook nodded. "of course. i assume i should wear a dress there?" she asked, wanting confirmation before going to get changed.

"i mean if you want." he told her. he imagined her in a nice dress, and him wearing a fancy tuxedo. he froze when he realized he had no tuxedo. he'll borrow one. he turned to the cat resting on brooks lap. "that cats like: 'coming to steal your girl.'" he joked.

"i think dresses are the only formal clothes i own. i'll go and change." she stated, before going into the guest room. she closed the door behind her, and changed into a sky blue dress.

harper nodded, slipping into his own bedroom. he imagined her in a nice laced white and blue dress. he put on the tuxedo he was borrowing from a friend. he looked in the mirror, and started fidgeting with his hair. the suit looked formal, but his hair looked like a mop. he started brushing it carefully, as it was like his third time. he finally looked presentable, and walked back into the living room.

brook folded her old clothes and put them into the bag that she bought over to harper's apartment. her hair had fallen down whilst they were at the beach, so she put it back into a bun, with some of the hair still down. brook looked at herself in the mirror. "god do i hate dresses.." she muttered to herself, embarrassed to leave the room. it took her a few minutes to gather the confidence she needed, but she decided to open the door. brook headed into the living room, and felt herself blush when she saw harper

harper blushed when he saw brook. he wasn't expecting the outfit even if she had said she was going to wear a dress. "r-ready to go?" he asked, grabbing his keys.

"mhmm! come on." she said, rather energetically. she grabbed onto his paw, and dragged him to the door of the apartment. brook ran through the building, not falling over to her surprise.

harper nodded, hurrying after her. he was still blushing, and was relieved when she didn't notice. he was glad it was a clear night, as it meant they could enjoy it. he squeezed her hand, and unlocked the car. he turned to brook. "shall we?" these were the same words he asked when they were going to the beach. he hoped she remembered.
