Elfie // Female // No Slots // Looking for a mate.
Personality; Elfie can be fairly hostile, snarky, and rude, but she secretly just wants somebody to love her for who she is, bloodthirsty and all. Nobody takes the time to get to know her loving and playful self, which is why she's normally misjudged for what they see on the outside, but truth is that she just tries to protect herself from wandering eyes. She knows she's not the prettiest of the bunch but she wants someone who tells her that she is.

Kachel // Male // One Slot // Looking for enemies.
Personality; Nobody really knows how Kachel gets enemies because how trusting and forgiving he is. But he's too forgiving for his own good. Maybe it's because he cant stand rude people? He cant stand thieves either.. or anything of that sort.

Queen Adara // Female // One Slot // Looking for a mate.
Personality; Queen Adara can be fairly blunt and emotionless but then at the same time she can be understanding and very sweet when she needs to, or wants to be. She currently rules a kingdom by herself but she has her daughter, Princess Aiko, to help her make decisions, even though they're minor. She honestly wants someone who she can trust and depend on when she's not there.

Keeko // Male // Both Slots // Looking for friends.
Personality; Keeko can be a sweetheart, not thinking much about himself, but he can also be cocky and unfiltered at random times. Call it Bipolar. He's absolutely obsessed with the beauty of nature and everything about it. Even though he can be unfiltered, he's mainly just sweet overall. He's enjoy his mate's company no matter what. Let them be a guy or a girl, Keeko isn't picky.

Kyoto // Male // Both Slots // Looking for friends & significant other.
Personality; Kyoto is a super shy boy with a really positive and sweet attitude. People say that his attitude is from the amount of candy he eats every day. He doesn't exactly know what he wants to do as a profession, but if he opens up a candy shop, he'd likely go out of business because the candy would all be gone within a week.

Princess Aiko // Female // Both Slots // Looking for friends & more mate candidates for her mother to set her up with!
Personality; Aiko isn't much of a talker, she mainly just listens because how much her mother used to boss her around and teach her etiquette. She's quite understanding like her mother and she's responsible, but then again, she can be too-trusting, unlike her mother. She honestly can't see herself with anyone besides a royal because of what her mother said to her, but who knows, maybe she'll go rebel and date a knight of hers. Or a knight from another kingdom.

I'm lame so I'm gonna answer my own questions.

Which kalon is your most developed? Why do you think they're your favorite?
My babs are p well rounded (with exception to Chaos and Lori, who still need more character work and development) but my fav is probably Mariah,, ; v ; his design is gorgeous and he's so fun to draw! I also really loved developing Crow-- I just had an idea and it clicked right away.

How do you develop/love your characters? (Writing, RPing, art, headcannoning-- what do you like to do? n v n)
I do a mix of those things! = v = I sketch a lot, both traditionally and digitally, and I like writing/rping with my charas when the opportunity presents itself! I like sitting around and just... thinking about my characters honestly.

Do any of your kalons wear accessories? How did they get them/why do they wear them?
Destiny wears a labcoat and goggles because she works with lab equipment. Kraken wears a scarf because he's almost always cold. Infinity wears a hat because she thinks it makes her look cool. Mariah wears his cloak and carries around a shovel for his position as a graveyard keeper. Aaand that's all of em! n v n

What's your favorite kalon ship? (Can be yours or someone elses!) Why do you like the pairing? (Design, personalities, compatibility?)
...I really like Eternity x Sinbad but that's because it's my ship. These two are both so hilarious and immature-- they do the most ridiculous things and it's adorable.

How did you first get involved with kalons? What's the first kalon you ever tried out for?
oh my go d the first kal I ever tried out for was #24,,
it seems like decades ago. xD I got involved because of Takura. as far as being involved in the community goes! ; v ; The adopts just piqued my interest,, I love shiny things.

What's your favorite edit and why? (Do you like to draw it? Does it just look lovely? Etc.)
I love adding glow to nursery kits but my favorite edit for myself is probably tail shine edits? * v * It really adds a lot of individuality to a kalon if you ask me!

How do you avoid character stereotypes/arch-types to make your own unique personalities?
I usually do backstories then work out the character that'd come from said backstory, but I also like adding odd quirks and whatnot that make my characters more bizarre. xD

What's your favorite color? Could somebody guess that color was your fave by looking at your kalons? (i.e. do you have a lot of kals that are your favorite color?)
I don't have a favorite color but if someone saw my kals they'd probably think it was blue. cx

I would have to say, Shim. She was my first Kalon, (although she didn't have any breeding slots) I connected to her right away. Her Coloring was perky and hyper. And when I got her, I made a whole lot of art for her. She still is my favorite. ❤

I'm not good with rp, but I tend to draw them on how I veiw them? I saw Shim as being a really happy kalon. I did do some rp when I was getting relationships with other kalons.

Shim, and Leo currently have accessories. I'm still working on Luciee. Shim wears glasses because she is far sighted (takes to may pics). Leo at the moment wears his Company Logo, but he enjoys gentlemanly clothing. Sometimes he dresses casual.

I think my greatest ship right now is Leo and Nova (DragonGlitch). Nova's design is simple but absolutely adorable, and her personality draws me in to know her more.

I started looking at species that other artists were making, (found Zozars 1rst, Scuffers 2nd, then Kalons 3Rd). The first kalon that I tried out for was kalon #651.

What's your favorite edit and why? (Do you like to draw it? Does it just look lovely? Etc.)
My favorite edit would have to be the tail edit or cmon hair edit. I love both. Hair can be hard to draw (I use the mouse), but drawing tails are a lot of fun.

How do you avoid character stereotypes/arch-types to make your own unique personalities?
I takes tests, or base their personality on their design. My last resort is to ask my sibling, then it helps me with ideas.

My favorite color is yellow, or orange redish. I don't think anyone would be able to guess it. I like red too, but none of my Kalons have that color in them. e.e

Personality: Friendly but occasionally judgemental. Intelligent, warm-hearted, and invested. If a friend is interested in something, he will go out of his way to do research on the subject to show his friend that he cares about their interests. Sometimes, he becomes too invested in a project and will begin to block out everything else until it is finished.

Which kalon is your most developed? Why do you think they're your favorite?
shiro is the most developed at the moment, but i've been writing a lot about kuro as well? still, shiro's my favorite, his design is a lot of fun to draw & i just adore his edits :'> he was created by me so he fits my style perfectly (imo) he also has a human form i'm simply in love with and it's sometimes easier to write about a humanoid character than a kalon ?

Do any of your kalons wear accessories? How did they get them/why do they wear them?
almost all of them have small accessories. shiro and hana have ribbons, pandorra and kuro have flower crowns !! milk has piercings and i'm working on anther cool accessory for him. once i grow juniper i'm giving him a really neat hat. (ok hand)
i like to give accessories to my characters! it makes them unique even without their design, so when i get uncolored sketches or similar of them they are still recognizable !!

i saw my friend hasu draw one of them! when she decided to quit cs she gifted me joaquin, he was my first kalon. (my main reason for joining this hellish site was that i wanted to be active in the kalon community!)

EARS. and hair of course. hair is a lot of fun to draw. especially curly hair ♥ and ear edits are simply precious. seven out of eight of my kalons have ear edits !! (just realized omg)
