Gingertail narrowed her eyes. Even though the tom was trying to act hostile, she didn't feel threatened. "Our Clan has been here for moons," she meowed. "I'm surprised you didn't notice. Were you hibernating during that time?" She flicked her tail towards the camp. "And I'm guessing that black she-cat is your littermate?" she asked. "The two of you look awfully familiar." Her ears pricked when she heard him mock MoonClan. "My Clan isn't fake. All of the elders tell of a time where there were four Clans in the forest, but they disappeared when we got here."

Whitefleck purred at the cats. There was a successful kitting today--and it reminded her of what Leaftail's could've been. She shook off the thought, nodding at the rogue. "You can calm down. MoonClan doesn't attack loners in need, even when you have kits and when you're extremely outnumbered. You can rest easily here." She dipped her head at Dravenclaw. "Keep an eye on her, will you? I don't want too many warriors crowding around."

Jade scoffed. My littermate? Hah. I'm not related to anyone. All my siblings are dead. Long dead. And I have those four original clans you mentioned to blame for that. Jade seemed to harbor very negative feelings to the same clans the elders tell stories about. Now look. Now that I know your clan exists, I recommend your clan knows I exist. I'll give you clan a warning one time. If a single cat comes to close to my den in that rock pile over there... He pointed through the treeline with his tail. They aren't going to be coming back. Is that clear? Jade said menacingly. Though he seemed uneasy with the other clan cats, he maintained a very hostile demeanor.

Gingertail nodded, not bothering to argue with the tom. "Of course. I'll let the Clan know." She narrowed her eyes into slits, her voice dropping to a menacing tone. "But if I see you snooping around my camp, you won't be returning to that puny rockpile of yours." Her mood lightened almost immediately after that sentence. "And why are you watching that she-cat, anyways?"

He smiled, "I will." He bowed his head. He tried his best to give the kitted rogue a comfortable and relaxed place.

Jade looked the she-cat in the eyes at the tone of voice she used. Watch your tone and I just might. I was watching that she-cat over there mostly because she came a tad too close to be den. I didn't realize why she was in such a dilemma until your clan came out to talk to her. For now, I'll just be on my way, as there really is no reason for be to stay in this mud hole. he said, turning tail and walking away with his tail held high. He looked back for a moment. Do you have a name I can call you by? Or should I just call you "Annoying"? he asked the clan cat.

"Gingertail." The she-cat replied as the rogue turned tail. "And yours? I wouldn't want to call you 'that mousebrained rogue', but I will if you'd like me to."

Jade sneered. Though you'd probably find it strange a rouge would have such a name, Jade. My name is Jadeclaw. Be sure to tell your clan, Gingertail. Remember, it's for their own safety. he said before walking off through the trees.

Most rouges didn't have Warrior clan cat names. Those who did were either once part of a clan or were simply named that by their parent. If they received their name as a Warrior in a clan, they were often questioned what clan they came from, which was why Jade oft didn't tell others his name. They always ask where he came from, which clan he was a part of.

They normally don't believe his answer.

The she-cat looked up into Whitefleck's eyes, wondering if she could trust them. She didn't, but she had nothing better to do than stay in the nursery with her kits. It would be far too risky to take them out in the wild now, and she was so tired she could hardly move. She didn't want to fall asleep, but her eyes eventually closed anyway and she drifted off to sleep.

"Alright, Jadeclaw." Gingertail meowed, watching the tom pad off. "I'll remember that name." She turned and padding back into camp.

"Alright, thank you," Whitefleck replied, taking one last glance at the she-cat before padding out of the den. She sighed as she padded into her den. She collapsed in her nest, exhaustion making her fall asleep almost instantly.
