Tigerstar was full out power play for sure

I only dislike Ashfur because he tried to kill a cat for not loving him 0-0 A bit crazy

I wish Breezepelt had been raised better. He might have been a good cat, but I still hate him.

I also don't like Spottedleaf. Im sorry, but they make her sound so perfect. It annoys me. 'Her warm amber eyes.' 'Her soft pink nose' 'her sweet breath' 'her beautiful dappled pelt' Sounds like she's far to perfect with no flaws

@Blizzard i thought of a flaw for spottedleaf. she was 49 moons and firepaw was what, 6? just saying.

i find it strange we have to add spoilers for things that came out 3+ years ago, but ok.


Anyway, about Ashfur. I find his character very interesting. I don't dislike him. I've been rereading parts of the Po3 arc, and the erins hinted at the kits true parents multiple times. Leafpool always fretting/worrying about them. Ashfur always prickly towards Squirrelflight. Also... *cough ashfurissquirrelflight'suncle cough* does anyone realize how old Ashfur is compared to Squirrelflight?

I recently finished rereading Long Shadows, and dang, Hollyleaf's guilt really weighs in, but is never blatently stated. She thinks things like 'what do you do when no matter what you choose you break the code.' She is horrified when Ashfur's body is found. Yet she was still relieved when he couldn't go to the gathering. Of course, imo the relief is because no one immediately went 'hollyleaf did it!,' not because ashfur wouldn't reveal the truth. I love reading the old series and finding things that create a faint trail to the whole end story that I didn't notice in my first readthrough.

We don't want to ruin someone else's experience of the books because of a simple error!

Yes! I haven't finished DotC, but that was something that I always hated about Clear Sky.

Also, I feel like I'm the only one who likes Clear Sky. I couldn't help but feel pity for him :c

But I heard he gets worse in Moth Flight's Vision, so I should probably catch up.

oMG I'M NOT ALONE FINALLY !! i like clear sky as well ^u^ though the one thing i didn't like about him, there's always a catch it seems lol, is that he did happen to pair up with too many she-cats who his kin always liked before him. it's as if he was trying to make them feel the same way that he felt when brightstream died from the eagle. that's just my little theory on the matter. it's probably not even true but it seemed interesting enough to share i guess?

also about spottedleaf ikr that was so annoying in the series. like, no cat is perfect... it just frustrated me. and the age difference :'0 it is actually quite normal for cats and animals in general, i believe i've heard that somewhere idk if it's true, but it's still weird...
