Greystone and Splashfoot, when you're ready, I want you to take your apprentices training. I should be joining you shortly with Cherrypaw."

{ sorry for the lateness of this post! some personal things(good and bad) have been going on, and I haven't had a chance to get to a computer until now! }

Her thoughts collected themselves slowly, a hazy cloud over her eyes and a passing groan from the heaviness of sleep still weighing down on her. The she-cat shook, trying to dispel her dreams away, already forgetting the events within seconds. Frosted blue eyes whispered open, hollow and distant as she realized it was daytime. Spiderpaw curled her claws into her soft moss nest, feeling the strength returning to her limbs. She let out a strong sigh out her nose, stirring some of the feathers woven into her bedding, before her ears perked at soft snoring nearby. The Rosetted Bengal raised her head, forcing any lingering wishes of sleep away with a sharp lash of her tail, before the faraway gaze of hers turned sour upon spotting the reddish fur in the mostly feathered nest beside her own. "Get up, flea-fur." she growled, jabbing a single claw into the shoulder of her brother Cherrypaw. "You let me sleep in! See, you shouldn't have kept me up most the night rambling about some stupid nightmare! Now Splashfoot is going to tie my tail into a knot for being late for training!" Giving the tomcat apprentice a furious look, and knowing he'd seen it, Spiderpaw bounded out of her nest and into the clearing with bristling fur. 'Dumb Cherrypaw! If he hadn't woken me up in the middle of the night crying about some ridiculous giant eagle dream, maybe I wouldn't have been so tired!'

The she-cat peered around the clearing, briefly hearing her brother following. She searched for Splashfoot, wondering if the tomcat was around, and if he'd see her first. Would she get in trouble? Probably. Could she explain it was all Cherrypaw's fault? Unlikely they'd be that understanding.

He awoke with choking cry as something sharp stabbed his shoulder, instantly making Cherrypaw's eyes pop open in terror and whip around for the source. He expected badgers, foxes-- maybe even giant eagles --to be the cause of the attack. But no, he should have expected the obvious. And that was his striped sister's snarl and venom-laced words so early in the morning, blaming him with her problems. Of course. As his trembles died down with time, Cherrypaw rubbed a rose-colored paw over his eyes sleepily and yawned. He knew Spiderpaw would just yell at him some more today. Maybe claw his fur again, if she felt like her point wasn't getting across to him. But otherwise, the danger had passed. And he listened meekly to her hissing before Spiderpaw leaped out of her nest and out to the clearing. Not without giving Cherrypaw a final glare, leaving him to flinch and lower farther into his feathered bedding with guilt. 'Of course this would happen. Of course it would, of course it would... leave it to me to screw things up.' he whimpered to himself, standing once Spiderpaw had disappeared outside, and going to follow. His twin frosty-blue eyes stared sadly down at his paws, kicking himself for his mistake. 'I shouldn't have woken her up last night. I should have just gone back to sleep... oh, why did I think waking her up would be okay? Of course something like this would happen, and she'd get mad at me for it! She was already irritable last night... aaargh, why am I such a mess-up all the time?!'

As he stood beside Spiderpaw outside, Cherrypaw let his mind wander. Would Soaringbird, his mentor, be angry with him too? They had woken up later in the day, right? Of course she'd be angry... of course she would... he just messed everything up. Like always....

She shifted in her nest. Fluffy ears twitching, tail flicking every few seconds. Minnowkit tried to pretend she was still asleep, as she huddled in Darkclaw's nest. But it was proving to be a very difficult act. She wondered if her older brothers were awake. Was her mother around? Ahh, she was too tired to get up... what was wrong with sleeping the whole day away? She was a kitten, it wasn't like anyone would get mad at her for being lazy... besides maybe her mother....

Mmm... peeling her honey-brown eyes open, Minnowkit slowly raised her head just enough so she could look around the nursery for any signs of life.

She walked alone at the forest, making her way to the river. Ears twisting she stopped hearing a heavy crash near her, taking a good sniff at the air '...smells like a rabbit?' she figured out, carefully walking closer toward the bush which separed her to the river. The it was small brown rabbit, which seemed to be injured, because it's back leg was bleeding. Licking her lips she get ready to attack this animal 'perfect, that could be good prey to the camp' she wondered spying the rabbit.

She nodded to her mentor "I quess...it easier to catch other preys than a fish" she said watching at the forest and listening the voices.

She watched at the cat "...Thanks I quess..." she meowed turning her gaze toward the mouse she was giving her. She moved little closer taking a small bite on it, then poked it back to the queen "There...you needs to eat more than I do" she meowed glancing at her big belly "So how far?" she asked curiously.

fawnbrook sat outside the warriors' den, grooming her paw and her frosty white fur. her pale blue-grey gaze swept around the camp as she watched cats go about their daily business. the apprentices were out of camp, meaning it was peaceful. the she-cat wasn't fond of young cats and kits, as they annoyed her and were very loud. she was blunt with them for a reason, she didn't want to speak with them. fawnbrook preferred speaking with older more experienced warriors, and even then she got impatient with them. loneliness was bliss, the molly had found.

the brown tabby was awake at dawn. he sprang from his nest and hopped outside with his tail high. as he trotted across to the medicine den, mousepaw noted that the camp was very quiet. every cat seemed to be either sleeping or busy outside, as everything was very still. "hawkpaw!" the tom whispered, entering the den and his eyes grew to adjust to the gloom. "you in here?" he mewed again in a quiet murmur, careful not to wake eveningleaf if she happened to be asleep.

The fluffy dark gray tom nodded, opening his jaws to help scent the air around him. I can't smell much other than snow at the moment. We should try to fish for a little bit, then check if we can catch any land prey.

"Don't worry about it." The long-furred pale gray she-cat took a bite out of the mouse, sliding it back over to Mint. Fog began purring softly when she mentioned her kits, and answered. "Only a moon left."

Her tail fell as the StoneClan deputy approached, instantly talking with her apprentice Cherrypaw. Tch. Spiderpaw gave the two a mean glare. 'I still don't understand how weakling Cherrypaw gets Soaringbird as a mentor!' she growled to herself, turning her chin away sharply and stomping away. {mkay~}

His ears flattened slowly as Soaringbird drew near, fear pooling in his frosty blue eyes, already assuming the worse. And when she spoke, he flinched back, not understanding her words until her tail rested softly on his shoulders. Then, Cherrypaw gave the deputy a bewildering stare. "H-huh-- oh! Uh, uhm, fine. Fine-- sleepy! Sleepy a-a little bit. Just, uhm, sorry. For, uh, waking you-- no, no! Uhm, waking up LATE! U-u-uh, sorry... s-sorry, Soaringbird." he stuttered awkwardly, just wanting the earth to swallow him up already. Uuuugh, of course he'd socially embarrass himself so early in the morning... nothing new here....

The silver-furred kitten sat up straighter as she heard her family chatter, a slight bristle in her fur at Bramblekit's words. Minnowkit huffed, bouncing out from her sleeping-act instantly and scampering towards her older brother. "I'm awake!" she countered, flashing Bramblekit a warm smile. Then, she turned to her mother and Finchkit. "Mornin', Mama. Mornin', my burazas." she teased, slightly changing the word 'brother' as a joke.

She waited for a moment, moving closer and closer, when she was close enought she attacked the rabbit. She dunged her claws into the rabbits shoulder and tryied to bite it's neck. Even thought the rabbit was injured, getting it down wasen't easy, but the rabbit was not as strong as heal ones. One strong bite and fight was over, dropping the rabbit to the riverbank she licked her lips happily.
