Some people still ship them, so I can sorta see why. They're very, very close. But, really, I consider them more like littermates than mates TBH.

I think a lot people ship Greypaw and Firepaw, actually. I think Firestar was originally supposed to be a girl, and he and Greystripe were to become mates.

You are correct! Rusty was supposed to be a she-cat named Ginger who later became mates with Graystripe. They even considered Fireheart and Bluestar, they quickly dismissed that idea though

I didn't. I liked her, but she wasn't my favorite. Though every favorite character i've ever had has died. No joke. Its sad. I wasn't deeply bonded to Bluestar though as she did go...kinda crazy

omg yes i did. when i first discovered warriors, that was one of the first books i read. the actual first book that i read was 'eclipse' which is hilarious considering that book was far into the series at the time. but my sisters already spoiled the entire plot of the books for me so it was no big deal. anyways, back to bluestar! she was probably my ultimate favorite leader and quite possibly favorite cat. she might have been a little insane at the end but you can't really blame her.
