Astarot chuckled gently, as he watched 'X' run back into the room. Before casting a glance at his daughter, and gave a small tired smile of his own." don't worry, you didn't wake me up, I noticed 'X' was gone and came searching for her, and it looks like she's been giving you quite the trouble", he replied. Looking back over at the hatchling, to make sure she didn't try slipping away.

Nezula gave a tired giggle and a nod,"You wouldn't believe the half of it. At least one good thing came out of her slipping away. I still wouldn't be asleep on a pile of books in the library." She said before thinking of one last thing,"Though I think we should tell Mom to stop teaching X how to run and fly for the next few days. It's hard enough keeping up with her running, I don't even want think of what it's going to be like when she gets a hang on flying." She said before yawning again.

X giggled as she ran around the room before moving around between the royal seats.

Astarot laughed a little, as he listened to what Nezula said. His tail still blocking the exit, so 'X' couldn't get away. Before looking down at his daughter, and nudged her gently." heh, your mother was no different with you, you were like a firecracker, it took us hours to catch you, but I agree, maybe it would be best to find something that would calm her down a little", he replied.

Nezula blushed a little bit at her father's comment about herself,"I suppose so. At least I learned to slow down after that one time I twisted my ankle going down the stairs because I was going too fast." She said before looking back at X,"So..... How do we calm her down?" She asked, having very little experience at this.

X stopped for a second between two seats and giggled before she came out and over to a window.

Astarot looked down at his daughter, and tilted his head in thought. Trying to think of the many ways, that his mate had done to calm Nezula down. Before looking back in the direction of the hatchling, and stretched out his wings." first things first, keep her away from the windows", he replied.

Nezula looked at her father before at the hatchling,"I've got this." She opened her wings and went into the air before landing herself between the window and the hatchling,"Sorry X. No windows." She said.

X skidded to a stop when Nezula came in front of her. Frowning a little, she then got up with another giggle and began running in the opposite direction.

Astarot let out a small sigh, and allowed himself to relax a little. Watching 'X' running around, before looking back over at his daughter." one of the things your mother did, was sing to you, since it caused you to fall asleep, but I don't think it would work with 'X', since I think crystal dragons have a different way in calming their young", he said.

"And what way is that?" Nezula asked as she worked from keeping X away from the windows.

Astarot watched the two younger dragons, as he tried to remember on what he had learnt about 'X's species. His wings folded against his sides, as he listened to his surroundings. Come on, Astarot, think! what was it that calmed them down? crystals? no, that would be too easy and not very smart, ugh! what did those books say?!, he thought.

Nezula realized that X was aiming for a window with the moonlight shining through. Flying over to it, she once again blocked X's path before the hatchling moved to the royal seats again.
