Dakota yawned again as he pulled another sprig of rosemary from the bush he was currently laying down in front of. He had been out in the forest all morning, collecting various cooking herbs for his store. His own gardens had produced a lacking harvest, so he was picking up the slack with wild grown herbs. He twisted around and tucked the handful of the rosemary sprigs into one of the saddle bags hanging around his waist, then stood, stretching his upper human torso leisurely as he turned and trotted back through the woods toward the road leading back into town.
"I'm glad there was no one else out today" He mumbled absent mindedly to himself as he paused to pluck some blue berries off a bush to nibble on. Reaching the road, he turned toward the town, adjusting his herb pouches a bit as they shifted uncomfortably against his deer legs. Not long later, he was back in town, trotting down the semi-busy cobble stone street toward his shop.

Cory sighed softly, setting down his sketch pad and charcoal for a moment as he looked around the park, enjoying the breeze as it blew through his hair and across his flanks. He held up his sketch pad to compare the scene he had drawn to the one in front of him, and his smile grew,
"Perfect!" He chirped aloud himself, setting the drawing pad back down and stretching his limbs.
"Oh god, I've been out here all day, but I just cannot be bothered to moveee" He said languidly, flopping over to lay completely on his side. he knew he should be out job hunting, as that was what he had promised himself he would do, yet here he was laying on a hill side in a park.
"Im so lazy, its just great" He laughed to himself, though he was sure he was sure he must look like a dead man-beast to any person walking by with the way he was sprawled out on the ground. At that thought, he heard a voice call over to him and he lifted his head up in surprise, his long tail swishing out of the way so he could see who was speaking to him.
"Huh? What?" He asked, looking around for the source of the voice, and noticing two girls not far away. He grinned sheepishly and scrambled to his hooves, making a small effort to brush the twigs and leaves out of his unruly braided hair and off his shirt as he trotted over to them.
"Yes Im fine, sorry if I alarmed you!" he apologized, holding his hand out, offering a hand shake,
'Im cory, nice to meet you!" he said in a friendly manner.
