What's everyone's game of the year for 2016?
Mine would definitely have to be Uncharted 4: A Theif's End. I mean the series could have easily ended with 3, and I would have been fine with that; it was a nice ending. Uncharted 4 was amazing though and I'm glad it came out. Naughty Dog managed to bring back a game and make it great.

What was everyone's game of the year for 2016?
i absolutely loved i am setsuna and shin megami tensei iv: apocalypse. the former was a wonderful letter to one of my favorite games an one of the most beloved, arguably, rpgs ever made, and the latter is a great addition to the franchise, and just makes me want 5 even more, haha.

Hello, Since the members have been scrapped..I'm just going to do a small bio about me. I've been playing games since I was a kid, sneaking behind my parents backs playing games like GTA 3, the good ol' days. The first console I ever owned was my Gameboy advance then later my Gamecube(which I still own today.) I don't really play much now as I am working most of the day, but currently my favourite franchises are Assassins creed, Gears of war, and The Batman Arkham series.

What's everyone's game of the year for 2016?
Not going to lie I only bought two games last year, Gears of War 4 and Pokemon moon. Poor adult life for the win.
My I would have to say the game of the year was GOW 4. I have been a long time fan of the gears franchise and it was nice to see what happened after the third game and to see how they explained the appearance of the swarm. Although I was not a fan of how short the campaign felt, as I finished it in 8 hours I still really enjoyed the story line and cant wait for the next installment to see what happens next. I also really loved the online as well. I may not be the best at shooter games its fun playing horde again and even trying doge ball for the first time. I totally think its one of my new favourite game modes.

same, whoops! i've spent so many hours into those games i've had to buy a new controller... twice. i also don't really play games myself that much anymore but rather watch others do the dirty work for me unless it's a game series that i love, mainly to see their opinions on certain things; i do have the dream of being a programmer someday so i guess that explains it. sadly way too many people skip the cutscenes, just run into the action and then wonder why things are happening ^^;

the thing about me is, that i don't buy games the year they come into markets and therefore i often have no clue on release dates and such. i'd have to vote on pokémon moon/sun though, even if i don't own either of them yet. i've always been a huge fan of the series, and quite embarrassingly so, i can't recall what other games came out last year... there might be a turnaround this year however, because i've been waiting for injustice 2 for ages now and finally it is happening ;u;

I've been lucky that my controller has lasted me this long, as I have had to put more then 500 hours on the thing. Most of it on just those two series. My bad.
At this time most of it is watching others as well, as I am able to do things like clean or work while its playing in the background. Its rather interesting how people playing the Batman games differently since there are so many different ways. I enjoy seeing how others people thoughts are.
Right now my only goal in 2017 is to get 100% on Arkham Knight. Right now I am sitting at 92% I think? the only thing left for me to do is those dang riddler trophies..thank goodness for online guides or else I would be totally lost.

i completely finished Mafia III and i'm max prestige on black ops 3 multiplayer ^^

I just got Destiny The Collection and i've been non-stop playing GTAV lately.

What game(s) is everyone looking forward to this year?

I am personally looking forward to Mass Effect: Andromeda and my friend has convinced me to get Persona 5 when it comes out (it also comes out on the PS3 which is pretty cool, although I'm still probably going to get it for the 4)

As for 2017 goals, I'm hoping to get some platinums. I only have it in Tales from the Borderlands (which you get for completing the game), but I'm only a few away on FFXV and Watch Dogs 2. I also need that one settlement trophy in Fallout 4 (which I've needed since like... March) for that platinum.
May also try for one in MGSV, although the whole 'achieve all mission tasks' thing doesn't sound fun.

What game(s) is everyone looking forward to this year?

tekken 7, god eater 3, and sonic project 2017. >> dunno much about the last two except that they exist, but the new tekken seems so hype, and i can't wait to see the mishima story line get completed. also looking forward to SMT25th anniversary and Dynasty Warriors 9, but i'm not sure if they're coming out this year, but new news will probably come out ^^"
i usually only pay attention to niche games before they come out, haha. all others i tend to forget about...

I'm looking forward to For Honor, Sniper Elite 4, Halo Wars 2 (i was part of the Blitz Beta^^), Dead by Daylight, TC's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and i'm gonna be buying RE7 soon ^^

I actually don't think there are any games coming out in 2017 I'm looking forward too, now that you mention it.

One of my favourite pastimes is looking for factual errors in video game annuals. My personal favourite was in a bookazine featurette about game franchises that needed reviving, and said that the last Okami game was in 2006.*facepalm*

I'm making a list of my favourite DS music. I have some ideas already, but any recommendations? A couple of people on other websites have already brought up Radiant Historia, but I don't know enough about that game to know what tracks to listen to.
There's also the whole issue of multiplatform games, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
