Did you update the app? It got an update at the same time as Pokebank, and once you update it, it should work with RBY the same way as with BW.

If you have the Poke Transporter app downloaded and go to open it, it should say that there is an update available and you can select it from there?

Not unless.you have black or white.inserted and googling it is a.waist.of time. So of you dont have those gAmes you can't update.

You don't need to have Black or White to download the update. It downloaded fine for me, and I didn't have either game with me. It's the app itself that needs to be updated; what game you have inserted shouldn't affect anything?

What I meant is if you go to your 3DS homescreen and select Poke Transfer without actually opening it, you should see scrolling text at the bottom of the top screen that says an update is available. Then if you open the app, before it actually starts up it should give you an option to download the update by clicking the Y button -- the system does that automatically with any app/game that has an update available. Have you tried that and it still doesn't show up?

Had neather option. All it gave me was manual，delete and open and when I went into it it said I needed the games.

Hmm, maybe the update isn't available for your region yet? It didn't show up for me until a day or two ago. You might just have to wait a bit, then.

update Pokémon bank (the main app. It might not let you update the transporter if you haven't downloaded it)
Have room on your 3ds SD card for the update
Have Pokémon Red/blue/yellow downloaded to the 3DS with Pokémon bank installed
Have Pokémon in the 1st pc ingame (this is the box it transfers)

If yes to all then contact Pokémon support and give them your Pokémon bank ID.

About the Transporter Update... It's a separate set of install data, so shouldn't be too hard to find. Have you tried the eshop search box(it's in as "Poke Transporter Update")/checking the "New Releases" section of the eshop? Just checked on my 3DS (Europe), and found it both these ways.

I need to get round to renewing my Bank, then I can finally transfer my stuff over... Not sure how much I'm gonna move yet... Then might start a Wonderlocke on my Alpha Sapphire...

I just accidentally got a shiny bagon while chaining for a salamence! He's my first shiny in Moon but I named him ShinyFail since he was kind of a fail and not what I was hunting for. He seems to have terrible stats and doesn't have his HA, but who cares when you've got a shiny that can grow into a beast? XD
