harper froze when she told him she had feelings as well. he slowly put his arms over her back, and hugged her, still surprised. he hugged her tightly. "that's really good." he chuckled. he rested his head on hers, and savored the moment. he finally pulled away, and smirked. "but this doesn't mean i'll go easy on you." he told her, and started splashing her.

brook squealed, not expecting the sudden splashing. "damn! my plan didn't work." she said teasingly, grinning playfully at harper. she ran up behind him and put her hands on his shoulders, she jumped onto his back, kind of forcing him to give her a piggy back, although she was actually trying to make him fall over.

harper laughed as brook jumped onto his back. although he had held her before, a piggy back ride was a different story. he tried to keep her up, but they both tumbled down. he was laughing so hard, air bubbles were coming out of his mouth under water. he held onto brooks hand, and pulled her back up with him.

brook laughed as they fell down into the blue water. she allowed him to pull her back up, and she pushed her soaked hair out of her face. "hey what time do we need to go and pick the kitten up?" she asked.

harper shrugged. "we have time." he promised. he smiled. "the kitten is fine, I'm sure. if you'd like, we could head back to my place so we can change?" he asked.

brook nodded. "we probably should. if we turn up like this again they'll probably refuse to actually let us have the cat at all." she joked, butt serious about going back. she hoped harper didn't think she was cutting their time short becaue she was bored. brook was far from bored, she was just concerned for the cat.

harper frowned, but he understood. "alright." he side hugged her, and walked out of the water. he packed up his things quickly, and waited for brook. he blushed again, thinking of the kiss. he didn't know why brook brought out a new side of him, and why she made him feel all fuzzy, but she did. and he isn't complaining.

brook walked beside him, as he had his arm around her shoulders. she was more than glad that she met him. brook had always needed somebody to reassure her, to calm her anxiety, to make her feel safe. harper was exactly that. it surprise her a lot when he came out and said that he loved her. she didn't believe it at first, but then again she knew it wasn't a dream. "sorry to cut the time short. perhaps we could come here again one time?" she suggested, hoping that he'd allow it.

"of course." he told her, squeezing her arm. "whenever you'd like." he promised her, unlocking the car. he let go off brook, and hopped into the front seat. he waited for her to get in, and turned on the music. he hoped she liked it.

brook got in the car after him, eager to go and see the cat again. she grinned that the choice of music. she was silent as she listed to it, but as it got to the chorus of the song she began to sing a long. she didn't event notice she had started to started to sing. her singing voice was rather nice, although she was usually too shy to sing infront of anyone.
