Rainpaw was lost in her throughs wondering when they should get back and if she should grab a few herbs along the way. We are a bit low on poppyseeds maybe I can snag a few on the hunt.. She looked up realizing what Saberfoot said. She gave a small nod as to say she was ok with it. But she also though it might be a bit of a bad idea cause if something bad happens not having a warrior with them might not end well but she shrugged it off as she doubted they would get attacked or anything bad. She turned to Bearpaw "In that case then I am ready to go when you are." She mewed with her tail held high with excitement.

Mudwhisker was shivering slightly, as he stood in the middle of the camp. His fur wasn't that thick, so the cat tried to puff it up a little. He slowly looked around the camp and wondered if he would like to ask anyone else onto the patrol, deciding not to. The tom padded to the entrance and stopped near Willowfeather. Mudwhisker nodded slightly as a greeting. "Are you ready to go? I didn't ask anyone else onto the patrol now, but I'm pretty sure the two of us will manage." he mewed to his fellow clanmate kindly. He smelled the fresh and cold air, but didn't smell any prey other than the few in the pile. Mudwhisker smiled a small and warm smile to Willowfeather, hoping that they could leave as soon as possible and keep on a good pace so that he could warm up a little.

He nodded and pushed through the fronds. What am I thinking? It was an odd question. I don't know. Was that why he had avoided the question. He fell back into to step with Frost.

As the two cats made their way through the snow, Frost walked alongside Shade silently. The cold air penetrated her fluffy white pelt like icy daggers. Why snow? Why cold? Frost thought silently to StarClan. Why couldn't it be 2 moons of endless prey? Or 2 moons of peace? Or how about 2 moons of... well... anything besides snow? Frost fluffed up her pelt in an attempted to warm herself. She was a longer furred cat. She could only imagine how short furred cats must feel. She supposed that the seemingly endless cold wasn't as bad as she made it out it be. Her and her brother hadn't be doing too badly in this new environment. At least they were alive. Frost looked around, wondering how far Shade wanted to go before trying to set up a camp. "Where do you want to put our new camp?" She asked.

Bearpaw's spirits soared at the idea. Finally he'd be out on his own! Well sorta, Rainpaw would be there but every cat knew he didn't mind that. "Sweet!" he purred his tail going up straight. He gave Saborfoot a curious look as if he was not quite sure to thank the cat who pestered him so continuously or not. Rainpaw's meow brought his attention back to her. "Race ya!" He crowed dashing out of camp through the thick snow before his mentor could say, "Bearpaw get back here!"

After a ok from the warriors and Bearpaw she watched him light up and she gave a small purr of amusement. When he ran off she dashed after him but of course as she was not trained in it she was not very fast compared to Bearpaw. But she managed to catch up with him. She ran fast enough to make it to his side and mewed playfully "Even though you got a head start, i'll still win!" She ran ahead just by a tail length and to help her to win she kicked at the snow as she ran to make some fly into Bearpaws face. She laughed a bit and continued running ahead now about a fox length ahead as she picked up speed.

Falconstar inwardly groaned when his apprentice ran off.
"Sure, Saberfoot. Just us three - er, four now - going out is fine. Bearpaw! Get your tail back here!" he loudly called after his apprentice, bounding after them and yelling over his shoulder to Saberfoot, "Come on, slowpoke!" he said, a teasing glint in his eyes. t wouldn't take long to catch up to the smaller cats.

Willowfeather nodded back and stopped licking her paw though she looked back down at it with a scowl. 'Darn hairs will never lay flat!' She looked back up at Mudwhisper. "Yes that is fine we will not many and I believe I am ready to go.She glanced all over Mudwhisker analyzing him as she began to walk out of camp. "Your cold. Am I wrong?" The she mrowed a small laughter as she noticed his attempted puffed up fur. You had to find the bits of humor that you could. "I'd say we need to warm you up. I dare you to a race from this tree to that one." Willowfeather motioned to the tree next to them stopping next to it and then motioned to a tree that was about a medium sized house away.

Mudwhisker nodded with a small smile. "I feel like I'm always cold!" he said and let out a chuckle. He then heard Willowfeather's suggestiong and a wide smile arrived onto his face. "Alright, it's on!" the playful tom mewed. Running was his specialty and maybe he enjoyed especially if he could warm up. Mudwhisker stopped next to Willowfeather and waited for her to get ready.

"Just a little bit farther." Shade answered. Suddenly he stopped, tail raised. He smelled a scent oddly familiar, it wasn't fox, or dog, or badger. It was clan. "Oh, we've just ran into the clan's border again." He said.
