❝ Her heterochromatic eyes started to burn as she listened to Carter talk, she would have laughed at the joke if she hadn't of overthought her mind into oblivion about Carter.. dying. Fire-hot tears started to drip from her eyes but Carter's gauntlet covered hands brushed them away with his thumbs. Her heart quickened at the simple touch of the soothing gesture. His hands stayed there though while they softly gazed at each other for a few moments. Even with his helmet on, she could tell she was staring into his eyes and that calmed her down from crying. That was until she saw the swift movements of her father behind Carter and her eyes widened when Carter was yanked aside basically by her father. She watched in silent aw as to why her father would have a sudden meltdown and realized he must have saw the small transaction between the two. Shoot. she thought as he father got down to her level on the floor after Carter disappeared into the cockpit. "Sara." he asked, "What was that?"

Her throat seemed to hitch at the question. What was that actually..? she thought to herself but her thoughts concluded with herself getting even redder in the face. "Nothing!" she snapped all-too quickly for her liking. Great, now he knows it was something. But when he kept a sharp stare at her, she started to fumble with her hands slightly "I was.. just worried about him okay?" she murmured almost too quietly to hear. "I was crying and he was comforting me... that's all" she glanced up, her face obviously tinted red if she hadn't pulled her hood farther over her face. But was that all it was..? "God, just leave me alone already" she complained like an angsty teen which really just what she was in general. "I told you my answer." yet her face and mind said otherwise as she glanced back towards the cockpit. ❞

⇨ She turned on the stretch, her eyes fluttering open as she awoke. She blinked a few times to get her eyes used to the harmful light, and when her eyes adjusted, they widened. Laurance was crouching in front of Sara, talking to her in a low voice. Fae sat up suddenly, and felt her sides. Her saber was gone. She clenched her fists, and glanced back towards her daughter and Laurance, swinging her legs over the side of the cot as she gently got to her feet. How was she supposed to get out. It was quiet except for the low mumble of Laurance's voice, and when she took a step, Laurance stood up. She froze, and when Laurance turned, he stared right at her "Ah, Fae. I was expecting you to wake up" He said, and approached her, making her back up and sit back down onto the stretcher. Laurance grabbed her chin and looked at her closely, as if searching for fear in the blue and green depth of her eyes, before letting her chin go and walking towards the cockpit, seeming disappointed. Fae heard a few words before Carter came out, blaster in hand as he approached Fae "We are approaching the Star Destroyer." He warned, glancing towards Sara through his helmet. Fae knew this because of how the helmet tilted slightly to the side. She raised an eyebrow, but stayed silent, watching her daughter with calculating eyes "Hmm" She hummed, smiling softly at Sara suddenly. She saw the tear tracks in her daughters fur, and just sighed "It's gonna be alright, baby girl" Fae mumbled very quietly, more to comfort herself than anything.

⇨ Laurance watched his daughter closely, before he growled out "Don't get attached to him. He's a trooper, your a sith apprentice. He will be killed eventually and you, will not" He said "And don't speak to me that way. Know your place and who you are talking to" He said in a cold voice, before getting to his feet and turning around. He was slightly surprised to see Fae on her feet, but marched towards her anyways, forcing her backwards back onto the stretcher. He crouched down before her, and gave her a sly smile "Ah, Fae. I was expecting you to wake up" He said, grabbing her chin gently and staring into her eyes. He frowned slightly, before standing up and walking into the cockpit "Watch over them, and tell those two we are approaching the Star Destroyer" He muttered, and Carter nodded, walking out. Laurance huffed, and walked towards the windows, smirking at the Star Destroyer in front of them. He unhooked Fae's lightsaber from the belt around his waist, and spun it in his hand, feeling triumphant. Little did he know that his three other children were devising a plot to get it, and their mother back.

❝ She bit her tongue back when she responded as harshly as she did. She winced at her fathers words. "How can you say that..." she growled lowly once her father walked back over to her mother. She glanced to the side at Carter once she felt another gaze on her. Immediately her eyes started tearing up. Her fathers words hurt so much. They hurt worse then her back wound. Worse then the now bruise under her thigh from her pinching it. How can he say something like that when he took Carter in himself...? she felt hot tears starting to stream down her face once more. She tried desperately to wipe them away but she couldn't for the life of her. Once her father felt for the cockpit, she looked over at Carter for some kind of reaction. Anything really. ❞

⇨ Fae pulled her legs up onto the stretcher and put them cross legged. She began meditating, until she heard a soothing voice from across the room. She opened her eyes and raised an eyebrow. That trooper was sitting next to her daughter, comforting her? Fae found this interesting, and rested her cheeks in the palms over her hands, resting her elbows on her knees as she watched the scene unfold. She was fan-girling slightly from the inside, a small blossoming onto her face. Atleast her daughter found someone to love through this hell. She giggled madly, and that's when trooper boy looked up and instantly scooted away from Sara. Fae smirked evilly, and the trooper just started drumming his gloved hands on his thighs "You two are adorable" She said, sitting up straighter. The boy hissed at her, and she snorted "I'm the mother of that beautiful girl you see before you, I think I have a right" She said, watching Sara closely as the girl wiped her tears. Fae's ears suddenly dropped. She had forgotten, for one happy moment, that Sara wasn't on her side… Wasn't considered her daughter. Fae sighed, looking down slightly.

⇨ When Laurance left, Carter instantly moved to Sara's side, sitting down beside her and pulling her close. He could feel her shaking with the effort to keep the water works from starting, but he just sighed "It's alright, Snips. You'll be fine" he mumbled. He didn't know what Laurance had said, but he guessed it was bad. As he sat there in a peaceful silence, only disturbed by Sara's sobs, he felt slightly peaceful. A small smile graced his features from underneath the black mask, and a sigh left him for a few seconds. That's when he heard a small giggle, and looked up, seeing Fae staring at them intently, her cheeks in her hands as she rested her elbows on her knees. She was smiling. He pulled his arm from around Sara and scooted away from her a bit, drumming his fingers on his thighs. Fae just laughed "That's adorable" Carter glared gently "No it's not! Be quiet!" He hissed lowly, even though a blush was raging on underneath his mask.

❝ She hiccuped from the crying. Her body relaxed into Carter's arms once he ran over and hugged her. Her body was shaking with each cry and she could not stop crying for the life of her. Suddenly, the form that was once wrapped around her pushed her back. Her eyes showed hurt for a moment until she noticed that her mom was chuckling off to the side and saying obscene things that should not be said. "MooooOMMMM!!" she cried like a little child having a temper tantrum. She looked towards her mother but scooted slightly closer to Carter in the process. She looked back at Carter. She could tell his breathing was rugged by the way his chest armor was moving up and down frantically. "I-It's not l-like th-at... W-we're just.. fr-riends." she murmured, her face burning bright red. She pulled the hood farther over her head, tears and crying now forgotten. ❞

⇨ She rolled her eyes as she gazed at her daughter "Of course you are. I take it you've known each other ever since you joined the opposite forces" She said, her tail twitching behind her lightly. That's when Laurance suddenly came in, and scowled at Carter and Sara. Carter stood up, and Fae just sighed "Laurance" But her husband just glared, turning back towards the hatch "We have arrived. Carter, tie her up and bring her to the holding cells" He said, and Carter nodded, getting Fae to her feet and trying her hands together. Fae grumbled lightly "I have three more kids who need me, you know" She hissed, and Carter nudged her lightly. She glared back at him, then looked towards Laurance to see him bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet. He was nervous. Fae smirked slightly, and was suddenly tugged away when the hatch opened, walking along with Carter as he brought her to the holding cells.

⇨ As he brought Fae down to the holding cells, Carter noticed her looking at him "What is it" He asked gruffly, and Fae just offered him a sad smile "I know you, Carter. This isn't who you're supposed to be" She said gently, and Carter just tightened his grip on his blast "Of course it is. How can you tell I am unhappy?" He snapped, and Fae just shook her head "You love my daughter. I know you do, but you know you can't you're a trooper and she, well, she's a Sith" Carter sighed, looking towards Fae as they reached the cell. She walked in, and he closed the door behind her "I… I can't do anything about our positions. Right now, I'm just happy to be around her" he offered, and Fae nodded in understanding. Carter nodded back, and ordered a trooper to watch over her cell, Carter walking back towards the ship to see to Sara. Laurance had vanished, so it was up to Carter to walk her back to her 'headquarters' "C'mon Snips, let's get you back to your station" He chuckled, letting her lean on him as they walked.

❝ She was horrified by the way she was acting. The meltdown she had had was horrible for how high up on the respect scale she was. If word were to get out about this, she would be ridiculed and she would loose so much respect within the empire for it. She glanced at her mother as Carter started to take her away. She looked sad when she was looking at sara's father. Mother... why can't you just understand? the empire is such a good thing. please, understand and join us. we miss you. we need you mom. she thought solemnly as her mother was taken away. She glanced at her father, meeting his eyes for a moment and it seemed like there was a hint of disapproval in his eyes. She looked away, pulling the hood so far over her head it covered her entire face. She winced at the pain from her back, just realizing about the wound once more as she had forgotten about it in her small meltdown.

What seemed like only moments later even though it was a long time, Carter came back. She couldn't make eye-contact with him for the life of herself. It was too embarrassing with the fresh thoughts of what her mother kept on saying in her mind. Snips. that nickname. Carter had recently started to call her that within the last few years yet he normally didn't say it unless she was in some sort of distress since the name seemed to calm her. But this time, it just made her more flustered then she already was. Standing up she hesitantly wrapped her arm around Carter's shoulder. But due to him being a little under being a foot taller then her, she pulled the boy down. She winced when she tried to walk, the muscles in her back when she walked pulled and shot pain up her back. "J-Just... carry me." she hissed in pain, not really caring about the situation anymore. As long as she was able to get to her bed and lay down, she was fine. ❞

When they reached her room, he put her down gently on her bed, tilting his head to the side slightly as he gazed at her from under the helmet "Is there anything you need? I have to go meet your father at your mothers holding cell, so if you require anything, better ask for it now." He smiled, his tail twitching gently behind him as he watched her with soft eyes, even though she couldn't see it.

⇨ They stood in the middle of a large room, Jedi masters sitting around them, eager to hear their story "Masters" Ashley called out suddenly, stepping forwards "It comes with much grief to tell you that our mother, Fae, has been captured" She called out, and whispers were heard throughout the room. Ashley frowned, and back up, allowing Peter to step up. He looked nervous as he spoke "I-It appears they were after our sabers, again, and this time it wasn't just our sister who accompanied the Empire" he said, and backed up, allowing Clarence to step forwards "Our father was there, too." he said, and a low rumble went through the listeners "We managed to fight them off, but our mother was overpowered, and taken from us. We must get her back, or else the Empire might have the upper hand." Clarence said, frowning gently. This time, they all stepped forward "Please, masters. We need your help" Ashley said, and her brothers nodded. The Jedi Masters looked towards each other, and nodded slowly "We agree to help. Your mother is a necessary asset to winning this war" One said, and Peter smiled gently "Thank you"

❝ She hissed under her breath when carter first picked her up. Her back wound pushing against the hard armor hurt like hell but she sucked it up and decided to not act like a child. After a while of her being carried, the cold, jet-black armor started to feel nice against the wound. That's until they finally got to her room.

Sara's room was a drastic difference from the place around her. It's like you were to walk into a different dimension. The walls, instead of steel or some other grey metal, was deep red wallpaper with black outlining the bottom by about an inch and redwood-stained wood was her floor. The room itself was quite large as well. To the left of the door was a large TV and beanbags with many earthy games, movies, consoles, music, and much more little toys and trinkets. Then to the right of the door was her bed. It was a nice, large queen-sized bed with black covers and black pillows. Then she had a spare cover-up blanket over the bed that was assassins creed themed. Sara's obsession with Earthly items would be horrifying to any-other non-Earthly being. She was fascinated and obsessed with Earth. Her father always told her stories of her and her mothers adventures as vigilantes before they left for the stars. After that, it had been her absolute dream to go to Earth. And due to that obsession, she had of course needed to have everything a normal Earth being would have. After a few calls and orders around, this was her room. Hollywood Undead and Assassin's Creed covered from door to wall.

She winced as Carter set her down on the bed. "Watch it." she hissed slightly in a kind-mannered way. Her legs instinctively went under the cover blanket and she brought it up to her face with a content sigh. She looked at Carter for a while after the question was present. What can I say to make him stay the longest..? wait no.. what am I doing, I don't want him to get in trouble. she thought. Her ears flicked slightly, singling to her dresser. "can you grab me my headphones and ipod?" she asked. ❞
