Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow disappeared out into the forest for a time, leaving the group of felines to simmer over the new information. He needed to get away for a little bit, and he hoped Little would understand his absence. They had only been in the tribe for a day, and yet, he had already been lied to. Shadow did not appreciate liars among theives. He climbed a nearby palm tree, resting at the top where the wind buffeted his fur with the oncoming setting of the sun. The warmth bore down on him, relaxing his fuzzled mind.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest nodded his head in approval of Light's suggestion for Crow to be his apprentice. He would have loved to mentor her himself; however, with his current prediament, that solution was unlikely. His eyes darted from Raven to Light, tail twitching in thought as they debated over the situation at paw. It was true that Light would be there for the tribe to lead them if Shadow fell short of his job. Raven could be a valuable asset in assisting Light in case there was trouble among the rogues. "Raven, since Little, I assume, is no longer fulfilling her job as a boatswain, would you like to step up to that rank? You can help Light with patrols and the various chores needing done around the camp." The saddened state of Spirit caught his attention, and he inched forward to touch the tip of his nose to her forehead. "Do not worry so much, Spirit. Life will go on without me there. Besides, you all sound so confident that you will bring me back with godspeed." He released a bemused purr, feeling confident his clanmates would search for the source of truth and bring it to the light.
Tempest turned to Fire when she spoke, thinking for a moment about when he found the still form of Moon on the beach. "Light and I were out for a run. We were heading for the isthmus barrier, out on patrol of the borders, when I stumbled upon her body. There were pawprints in the sand, thought faint, as if one used their tail to brush away their tracks." Tempest explained with a dark glint in his eyes hiding the sadness of the memory.
When they reached the isle, Tempest felt a sad smile touch his maw. It was a goodbye to his former life, though he hoped it would not be the last. He turned to the patrol, dipping his head respectfully to them for perhaps the final time. "I appreciate everything you all have and will do for me. Protect the tribe, and do not let anything happen to the future of the tribe. Follow Arcadia and do not give in to the temptations of her misdoer Swashbuckler. I must get across before the tide changes, so I must bid you all farewell." His voice was on the verge of shaking, but he kept it strong to keep from having a painful goodbye.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower piped in after Crow's speech, agreeing with her statement,"We won't let you remain exiled, Tempest. You are our leader and it will always stay that way. Shadow is no leader of mine." The stubborn she-cat was willing to agree on that idea, and she would definitely prove to be a nuisance to Shadow once they got back. Flower could quite literally sit in one spot for a whole day if she wanted to. Hunting and fighting? Not for the rogues she would not! She would only hunt for her true clan mates, and she would only protect her true clan mates -- that was the end of the discussion.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream darted forward to push herself in between Fox and Eagle when the outburst grew into a conflict. It was almost too late when she finally got to where the three felines were clashing. "This is not the way to handle tribal affairs! We will settle our disputes peacefully. Arcadia is watching and the code is at stake." A firm upholder of the Arcadia code, Stream could always be there to remind the tribe of the right path. She held a strong connection with the ancestors, and even insisted on sleeping out of the ship at night to be under the stars. It gave her a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
