harper wanted to offer that she come over to his place whenever, but she was gone when he opened his mouth. he was sitting on one of the chairs when she came back. he got up quickly, excitedly smiling. "shall we, my lady?"

she giggled, and put her hand out. "yes, we shall fine sir. she said playfully, going along with the joke. brook closed the door of her bedroom, and left the apartment with harper following her.

hatper quickly got in the car, hasty to get to the beach. it was about a fifteen minute drive, but they arrived. he got out, breathing in the smell of the sea. just like in the movies. he hurried down, and place the towels. it wasn't too sunny, which was nice. a few clouds invaded the sky, blocking out parts of the suns heavy rays. he took off his shirt, as it was not a rashguard. he wasn't muscular, but he didn't have a bad body. he was average.

brooklyn followed harper down the beach. she waitied for him to lay down the towels before sitting down on one. she looked up at him to say something, but got cut off as he took his shirt off. brook watched him for a brief moment before looking away with a red face. she looked at the ocean instead, watching as the pretty blue waves lapped at the sandy golden shore. brook felt too embarrassed to take off her cover up, but went ahead and did it anyway. she folded the piece of clothing up, and putting it on the sand beside her. brook didn't say anything about it because of her embarrassment.

harper was stunned when she took off her cover up. he wasn't expecting that. I mean, he knew she wouldn't swim in it, but. he knew the look on his face gave away his shock, as brook was quite attractive in his opinion. he didn't want the awkward silence, so he started talking. "hey, b-b-brook. uh, uh, uh, uh." 'talking'. he was so embarrassed he couldn't even speak.

brook looked at harper when he started stuttering, a look of concern on her face. "are you okay? is something wrong?" brook asked, worry laced in her voice. "are you ill, do you want to leave? she was oblivious to why he was nervous all of a sudden, and she was starting to panic. had she done something wrong?

harper shook his head, scratching the back of his head. he smiled at her shakingly, nervous. he wondered if any other boys though she was cute. he hoped not. "sorry, no, you're fine." more than fine "the icecream place is just over there when we're done." he explained. "ready to go swimming?"

brook sighed with relief. [color=80bfbf]"okay thank god. i thought something was wrong. sorry if i get concerned or panic easily, i can't really help but worry a lot over yo- over others."[/color] she started, correcting herself halfway through her sentence. brook grinned as he suggested swimming. [color=80bfbf]"of course! i love swimming, i'll beat you there!"[/color] she exclaimed, standing up. she lifted her arm above her head and stretched, before running down to the water.

harper nodded, getting up quickly. he felt dizzy, but picked himself up. he smiled at her, and started kicking up sand as he ran. he jumped in after her, splashing her as revenge for beating him.

brook squealed as the cold water splashed on her exposed stomach. she grinned at him, and ran a few steps towards him before jumping onto his back, hopefully surprising him enough to fall over. brook was laughing a lot, and it was definitely the most fun she had had in a long time.
