Shadow That Dances at Night
The dark brown tabby had been expecting an attack. He whipped around with the speed of a snake, claws aimed to brush meaninglessly through the fur of Jay. Shadow wanted to prove a point, and he would do so by making an example. "Violence makes you no better than Tempest himself." he uttered through clenched teeth, using all his might to control his thirst for revenge. He pointed the tip of his tail towards Jay once Turtle got him under control, eyes narrowing to green, fire-filled depths. "Change is good. Getting stuck in old traditions makes life dull." he stated once more, eyes scanning the clearing to meet the eyes that dared to meet his own.
When Raven stated her position, a grin flashed onto his features. Arcadia was dead to him. Swashbuckler was the force that drove him onward. He was trained by the legend himself within the dark recesses of the stars. Only the true chosen ones would ever have the opportunity he had. This was the true path to power, and life was about power. Gaining power, having power, using power, controlling power . . . it ruled his life.
"All those that refuse to accept Swashbuckler as their true ancestor will meet his wrath sooner or later. Arcadia is a mere blot on his history. He was the first captain, and he never got the honor he deserved. Arcadia was a dishonorable, old myth placed in the minds of elders to scare the kits into behaving." Shadow shrugged his shoulders, whiskers twitching with amusement. He was so sure in Swashbuckler's power that he expected lightning to strike before their eyes at any moment.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest looked up towards Gaze, holding back a sigh that threatened to escape his maw. He hated to leave the tribe at a time like this. They needed him, and he needed them, but this was for the best. Shadow would not let both Gaze and him stay without conflict. He could only hope that the tribe would take care of the kits and elders at all costs. "Did you get traveling herbs from Rain? I suppose we can leave." he mewed cautiously to Gaze, glancing towards Spirit and Fire individually. Tempest was unsure as to who was all attending the patrol.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower scrunched up her nose when the scent hit her. It was worse than accidentally walking into a palm tree. She did her best not to laugh, but a small twitch of her whiskers gave away her amusement. Holding her breath was the only solution to the awful smell of skunk. What would Tempest think of such a scent trekking its way into camp? Oh . . . right, he's leaving soon. Flower had completely forgotten while she was hunting. "Hey! Do you two think we should be getting back? Didn't that Shadow cat say he was giving a meeting at sunset? It's almost dusk."

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream rested the tip of her tail on Sunrise's shoulder. Her expression was emotionless, hardened by the mixture of fury and sadness. Everyone knew that what Shadow was doing was not right, yet what could they possibly do? They were fairly outnumbered, and the only reasonable form of attack would have to take place away from camp. She was confident that the true tribe would figure out a solution to the problem. The Tribe of the Black Pearl would prosper and live on in her heart. "What are your thoughts?" she finally stated to Sunrise, glancing upwards towards the elder.
