altean jackals are a species of wild canine found on the planet altea.
They are thin, and resemble an earth jackal in general build but are
much larger, reaching the average person's shoulder. Usually found
in small packs - parents and cubs, with yearlings or a grandparent -
altean jackals build their dens where the meadows and forests meet,
and prey mostly on small rodents or birds.

Here's the first jackal! I tried to avoid the watermelon / strawberry-kiwi feel, but I think she's kinda cute still!
