harper sat down next to her on the couch. "how about- series of unfortunate events? a personal favorite of mine." he suggested proudly, scrolling down on netflix to find it. he found it, and waited for her response.

brook smiles, nodding in agreement. she moved a tiny bit closer to harper, wondering if he'd notice or not. "that sounds fine with me."

harper smiled excitedly. he quickly clicked the movie, and got comfortable. he almost blushed as brook moved closer, but he won't complain. it was nice. he was tempted to put his arm over her, but refused. it'd be a little weird. he really enjoyed this time with her, and he was very grateful they were friends.

brooks eyes remained glued to the screen as the movie progressed. soon though, her eyes began to force themselves shut. brook was trying her best to fight the urge to sleep, but it over took her. she fell onto harper, her head resting just below his shoulder.

harper smiled and blushed as brooklyn fell asleep on his lap. he carefully moved his arm, and turned off the tv. the lights weren't blinding, so that was good. he gently picked up brooklyn, and tip-toed into the guest bedroom. he placed her down onto the bed, and smiled. he blushed again, and went to bed. he changed into his pj's, then was out.

brooklyn woke up rather early. the following morning. she opened her brown eyes. mot recognising her surroundings right away, she quickly sat up in the bed, looking at where she was. brooklyn then remembered that she had been at harpers apartment last night. she took a deep breath to calm herself after remembering she was in harpers apartment. "stupid. getting worried over nothing." she mentally scolded herself. brook refused to get up. she felt awkward since harper had yet to wake up. she didn't want to wonder around the apartment without him, so she stayed put.

about twenty minutes after Brooklyn woke up, Harper got up. he stretched in bed, yawning. he shook his head, and slowly got up. he had forgotten Brooklyn stayed over. he changed into some casual pants, and a comfortable sweater. it was quite a chilly January. he walked into the kitchen, making himself some coffee. he finally remembered brook was over, and quickly made her some tea. "too early for tea?" he wondered to himself quietly.

brook waited in the guest bedroom for around 20 minutes before she heard harper up and about. she'd fallen asleep in her day clothes the following night, so she'd ask him if she could use his shower a bit later on. she went into the kitchen, as that's where it sounded like he was. "morning harper! did you sleep well? i'm sorry for falling asleep last night during the film. i suppose i never realized how tired i was. she confessed, unaware that she'd actually fallen asleep on him

"go-odmorning!" he chirped to her, handing her the tea. "hope I didn't sleep in too long." he told her, a bit embarrassed, worried she had just laid in bed.

she gratefully took the cup from harpers hand, bringing the warm drink to her lips as she took a couple of sips. "no it's fine, really. i've only just woken up actually." she knew she was lying, but she didn't want him to feel bad even if there was nothing to actually feel bad over. "do you want to go out and do something today? i don't have work at all this weekend so i'm free today and tomorrow.
