"i-i'm sorry. i'm guessing that must be worse since you don't know if it was just an accident or if they left on purpose." he suddenly regretted his statement, and tried to cover it up by changing the subject. "are you doing anything tomorrow? since it'll be saturday, i thought maybe you'd like to come over and we could watch a movie. it'd be fun." he suggested. he didn't mean a date, but it'd be fun to have her over to hang out.

"i suppose i do wonder if they intentionally left me or if it was an entire accident... she held back a depressed sigh, thankful for the change in subject. "that would be great actually. i never really do anything on saturdays so i'm totally down for that." she chirped, her mood suddenly being raised up again.

"great! will you be coming with me, or would you rather go home first?" he asked cheerfully. he planned on texting her secretly through classes since the teachers were very ignorant.

"well i don't mind. it'd probably be easier for me to go straight with you though. whenever brook was woth harper, she felt.. different around him. she had no clue was it was, but it was a nice feeling to have. he made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"sounds perfect!" he chirped happily. as they rounded the street the the large college, he frowned. "we'd better get to class?" he suggested, tightening his backpack.

brook quickly retreated from the classroom the moment the teacher released them. being in a classroom as crowded as that made her feel extremely anxious and uncomfortable. thank god that's over." she muttered to herself as she waited for harper.

harper rushed out of the classroom the second the bell rang, attempting to avoid the mass of students stampeding through the halls. he quickly ran outside the doors, and texted brooklyn. he opened the contact 'brookie <3'. "where are you? over by the math class or closer to the court?" he texted her quickly.

she felt her phone buzz, so she took out the device from her pocket. her hands trembled as she typed back, making a few spelling errors here and there. the large amount of people worried her, and her limbs began to shake slightly in turn. "ouside of the classrom. the crowd is too big to move though." she sent the message, aware of the spelling errors at the start of the text bit didn't bother to correct herself. she didn't handle crowds well, and she wanted to get away as soon as possible.

harper nodded at the text, and shoved it into his pocket. he hurried over to the destination, and immediately saw brooklyn. she seemed worried, and even frightened. he pushed through the crowd of students to her, and smiled at the girl. "ready to go?" he chirped excitedly.

she nodded vigorously. y-yeah! let's go." brooklyn made sure she stayed close to harper at all times. she felt the temptation to grab his hand as they battled though the crowd, be resisted the urge. he'd think she was a weirdo if she did.
