Carter nodded a little and wanted to write this information down, but his hands were full. Mary nodded and smiled. "Yes, you did." she said, "I've heard of phoenixes being born of fire and ash, but never a lunar phoenix. I didn't even know that any other species existed. And what magnificent colors you have." Mary wanted to bring her family outside to see Lo, but she didn't want to move from her spot.

He wandered the forest some more after getting a drink from the lake. He was curious about the pup he saved. He shifted into a falcon and took a minute to catch his breath. He spread out his wings and flew in the sky and towards the shelter in disguise.
