He slowed his pace, something about doing that didn't feel right, he felt like he just killed the puppy. He sighed and banged his head against the nearest tree before jumping into its biggest branch and layed down quietly looking at the way he came from.

Alfie struggled to get free from the humans hands before giving up. He thought on the bright side of this situation, at least he wasn't alone anymore, and he wasn't the humans who abused him.

"Looks about three months old." mumbled Carter, judging Alfie's teeth. He carried the pup inside. He went to Ally's room and looked to Mary. "Would you be willing to take this pup?" he asked. Mary nodded a little, then Carter set him down. He left to get some wet food for the pup.

Cybil looked at Alfie and sniffed him. "Where'd he come from?" she asked. "I guess Carter found him." said Mary quietly. She noticed Alfie was licking his leg. "Is it bothering you?" she asked softly. Carter returned with some wet food in a bowl. He set it down in front of Alfie. "He's old enough for food." mumbled Carter, "Hopefully he'll eat."

Once he filled his need of food, he went to the water bowl and lapped up the cold refreshing water. His tail continued to wagged. "T-thank you.." Alfie said looking at the man for a second then continued to drink more water.
