[ Rowanpelt / Velvetrabbit ]
Rowanpelt hoped he didn't make Velvetrabbit uncomfortable by his ramblings, he tended to say everything that was on his mind whenever he grew flustered, and seeing as the molly was now looking at her paws rather than up at him, he was worried he might have said something that rubbed her the wrong way. At this moment Rowanpelt wished he was suave and charming rather than awkward and jittery around cats that he liked, it surely would've avoided situations like these. If there was one thing that made Rowanpelt the tiniest bit confident, it had to be that Velvetrabbit didn't look like she wanted to leave yet - so maybe he didn't make her totally uncomfortable after all. "Well, i-it's nice to meet you, Velvetrabbit." He mewed, quickly finding himself liking the way the molly's name sounded. "And, uh, I'm Rowanpelt. You probably know what Clan I'm from." He gestured his head towards the towering pine trees above them with an awkward chuckle, he wanted to say more, maybe tell her what a nice name she had? No, that wouldn't sound right. Tell her she smelled nice? No, that was too creepy. Say that she had really pretty eyes? That was too forward, also embarrassing. Very embarrassing.
Velvetrabbit laughed at his awkwardness, her laugh was quiet, though. Most described it as sounding like silver bells tinkling in the distance. She looked up from her paws, a smile on her muzzle and a glint in her eyes that she could not put emotions to. She wondered what to say to him at this point, not sure how it would sound if she was forward with him. She had never been a cat to beat around the bush with things, even though she was a quiet cat to begin with. If she had somethint to say she would say it.
"Rowanpelt, I like that name." Velvetrabbit said in a silky purr, "It certainly matches your handsome coloring."
Before she knew what she had said it had already left her muzzle and hit his ears. Her eyes got big for a moment before she ducked her head again in embarrassment. She was pretty sure that her pale pelt was glowing red with how much she was blushing right now. She was mentally berating herself for being so stupid as to say something like that.
